The next morning arrived, a perfect day for wedding preparations. Siya stood in front of her mirror, adjusting her earrings, the fluttering in her chest barely under control. She was about to head to the jeweler's shop with Tanya and Abhimanyu's family to pick out jewelry for the wedding.
Downstairs, she heard a car horn. Abhimanyu was ready to leave. Tanya called up to her, "Siya, let's go! Abhimanyu's waiting!"
Siya grabbed her purse and joined Tanya at the door. They stepped outside, and Abhimanyu's car was parked in the driveway. She slid into the passenger seat, feeling both excited and nervous.
As they drove, Siya looked out the window, humming softly to herself. The familiar tune of "Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas" played on the radio. Aarti, sitting in the back, leaned forward with a smile. "Siya, your singing is still as calm and beautiful as it was back then."
Karan nodded. "Absolutely. It brings back so many memories."
Tanya, ever the enthusiast, pulled out her camera. "Speaking of memories, I found something for you all." She grinned. "Some pictures from our camp six years ago, and a recording of Siya singing this very song!"
Aarti and Karan began flipping through the photos with fond smiles, reminiscing about the past. But as they came across a particular image, Aarti's expression shifted. "That was such a lovely trip... until the incident with Alia. I don't think I'll ever forgive her for what she did."
Abhimanyu glanced over, a puzzled look crossing his face. "What happened with Alia?"
Aarti froze, realizing that Abhimanyu didn't remember. She fumbled for a moment, unsure how to explain, but before she could, Tanya quickly interrupted. "Hey, why don't we listen to the recording?" She hit play, and Siya's voice filled the car, accompanied by the sounds of laughter and chatter.
The recording brought them back to those carefree days, a time of joy and simplicity.
Suddenly, a voice on the recording spoke up. "Siya, you always have Abhimanyu close to your heart."
Tanya's eyes widened in panic, and she immediately turned off the recording, hoping no one had heard. But it was too late. The car fell into a stunned silence. Abhimanyu's gaze was fixed on Siya, his eyes searching for answers.
Siya's heart raced, but before she could respond, Abhimanyu quickly shifted his focus back to the road, his expression of confusion.

Soon, they arrived at the jeweler's shop, the excitement visible as the family stepped out of the car. Inside, Siya stood to the side, watching as Tanya sifted through simpler jewelry pieces for herself. As expected, Siya soon found herself trying on nearly every bridal piece in the shop, the impromptu model for the day.
