"Hey Mumma, what happened after Abhi and I hung out in my room yesterday?" Siya asked, a bit anxious. "Oh, not much, sweetie. Abhi just came down and said you were already out cold," Purvi replied, sounding relaxed.
"Great, did I miss my chance to talk to him?" Siya thought to herself. "Yep, he said not to disturb you 'cause you looked wiped out," Purvi teased. "Oh, come on, Mumma," Siya groaned, rolling her eyes playfully.

"Is he your soon-to-be neighbor? Oh my gosh, Siya, this is totally fate!" Tanya exclaimed. "And why do you think that?" Siya asked, trying to play it cool.
"Not everyone gets a chance like this to be around their crush!" Tanya replied with a grin. "But I never said I liked him," Siya thought to herself, feeling a bit defensive. "Oh, come on! How does he make you feel? Do you just want to hug him? Does his touch send chills down your spine? Do you want to melt into his arms?" Tanya pressed.
"Tanya, you're overthinking it. I haven't even been closer than two feet to him, remember?" Siya lied, trying to sound casual. "Let's chat more during recess, okay? We'll dig into this! See you, cutie!" Tanya waved as she walked away.

"Siya, why don't you invite your soon-to-be neighbor to join us for lunch?" Tanya suggested. "But do you think he'd say yes?" Siya replied, unsure. "I bet he would if he feels even a bit like you do. But if he doesn't... well, you might need to rethink your strategy," Tanya said, making Siya's heart race with worry. "
But Tanya, he's not exactly chatty." "That doesn't mean he won't come. Trust me, if you play your cards right, my ship will sail," Tanya teased. "Oh, totally, Tanya," Siya replied, rolling her eyes but smiling at her friend's enthusiasm.

"Hey Abhi, what's up?" Siya asked casually. "What brings you here, Siya? Need help with something?" he replied, a bit guarded. "Why can't we just have a chill chat?" she countered. "Oh, sure."
"So, what are your interests, Abhi?" "And why the sudden curiosity?"
"Because I want to get to know you better and be your friend. Since we met, I've felt something is weighing on you. I don't need to know unless you want to share, but I'm here for you, even if you never do. We're too young to carry all that stuff alone."
Abhi thought to himself, "How did she catch on to my past so quickly? What makes her want to be friends with me?" He noticed Siya waiting patiently for an answer.
"Siya, I appreciate your kindness, but there are just some things I'd rather not dive into right now." "Get it, Abhi. How about joining us for lunch instead?" she suggested, hoping to lighten the mood.
