Hey, lovelies! Just wanted to share some thoughts that have been on my mind lately.

I'm honestly really disappointed by the difference in the number of views and votes on my stories. So many people read the chapters, but only a handful vote. Why? Is it that difficult to understand that voting after reading a chapter is completely free? It's genuinely disheartening when the majority just reads and leaves without voting. Writing a story isn't just about time—it takes so much more than that. Creating complex characters, building a solid plot, and weaving a unique storyline requires heart and soul. 💗

Especially Across Time and Pages—it's not something you find often on Wattpad. It's a story I've crafted while keeping in mind the original tropes that readers love, but with a completely fresh twist. And yet, this is why I've been delaying editing The Threads of Destiny. And Across Time and Pages? Every chapter, including the epilogue, is ready to go. But sometimes I hesitate to post because I feel, "Will it even make a difference?" Phir bhi, jo log apna pyaar dikhate hain votes aur comments ke through, unke liye I keep going. 🫶🏻🧿

What's even more upsetting is when I see negative comments about my characters or how a chapter unfolds, from users who haven't even voted for a single chapter. Aisa kyun?

And then there's this one experience—when I finally took some time out to read a story from the Top 10 India list. I thought, "Chalo, let's explore what Indian readers are loving." But you know what I found? A story filled with smut in every single chapter. Not just that, but toxic dynamics where the female lead was manipulated and dominated by the male lead. No plot. No climax. Just arguments and "punishment". Why are such books making it to the top? Fine, views can be deceiving, but the votes? Do such stories really deserve that kind of recognition?

This whole experience makes me wonder if writers like us—who put everything into their stories—are even valued. Sometimes I think, "Did I start writing for myself or to take on unnecessary stress?" It's disheartening, honestly. "Are people even liking my stories? If they do, then why don't they vote?" Sometimes, I feel like maybe I should just leave Wattpad. But then I remember the readers who genuinely love my writing, my books, my characters, and they're the reason I keep going. To those of you who vote, comment, and support—you mean the world to me. 💌

So here's my heartfelt request: if you're reading my stories, please vote. 🙏🏼 It's free and a small gesture that goes a long way. Share your thoughts in the comments, too. 💬 To everyone who's supported me so far, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys keep me going, and I promise to keep giving my best for you.

With love,
Kahani. 🌟
