It was a quiet morning at the Arora house, with sunlight streaming in through the windows. Siya was busy in the kitchen, whipping up Tanya's favorite breakfast.

Upstairs, Tanya was helping Purvi organize sarees in the wardrobe. She was carefully folding and stacking them when Rajveer, still half-asleep, walked in. Without really paying attention, he wrapped his arms around Tanya from behind, mistaking her for Purvi.

"Good morning," he mumbled, placing a quick kiss on her cheek.

Tanya froze, her heart racing as her face flushed red. But she quickly brought him back to reality. "Veer, it's me—Tanya. Kaki-sa is in the storage room."

Rajveer blinked, fully waking up as he realized his mistake. He quickly stepped back, his face showing pure shock. His eyes took in Tanya—dressed in a saree that Purvi had made her try on. With her hair tied back, a small bindi, and the elegant drape, she looked like she'd stepped out of another era.

Before he could say anything, Purvi walked in, smirking. "Oh, did I interrupt something here? Tanya, need any help?" she teased. Tanya recovered fast and grinned. "Kaki-sa, that's not fair. I'm practically his sister's age—and her best friend!"

Rajveer's face changed slightly at that comment, almost like something had clicked in his mind. He didn't say much but seemed a bit thrown off. Tanya noticed it, of course, but said nothing.

Purvi, trying to keep the mood light, asked Rajveer, "What are you even doing here? Looking for me?"

Rajveer nodded, looking distracted. Then, almost as an afterthought, he turned to Tanya. "Why are you wearing Ma's saree?" Purvi laughed. "Oh, that's on me! I thought Tanya would look amazing in a saree, and she was sweet enough to humor me."

Rajveer nodded slowly, still processing the whole thing. "I'll go get ready," he said and left for the bathroom, leaving Purvi and Tanya exchanging knowing smiles.

Tanya couldn't help but feel amused—her little comment had clearly thrown Rajveer off, and she secretly enjoyed it.

After breakfast, where Siya had served up Tanya's favorite dishes, Rajveer checked his watch. He had to head to the office soon, but there was something important he wanted to say before leaving.

Putting down his spoon, he cleared his throat. "Siya," he said, getting everyone's attention. "I talked to Abhi last night." Siya looked at Rajveer curiously, her brow furrowing slightly. "Oh? What did he say?"

Rajveer took a moment before answering, "He said he's taking you out for lunch today. He'll pick you up at noon."

A smile spread across Siya's face, her eyes lighting up with excitement. "That's amazing, Bhai!" she said, her voice brimming with anticipation.
