The next morning, sunlight streamed through the curtains, gently waking Siya as she lay nestled in Abhimanyu's arms. She stirred, her thoughts drifting to the night before, and a soft blush warmed her cheeks.
Sensing her movement, Abhimanyu opened his eyes, meeting her gaze with a sleepy smile. Siya leaned forward, brushing a gentle kiss against his forehead. His arms tightened around her instinctively, pulling her closer.
"Morning," he murmured, his voice husky. "Good morning," Siya replied, her voice soft. "We should get up, Abhi. It's my first day at Sabyasachi, and you have that big meeting."
Abhimanyu groaned playfully but sat up, running a hand through his messy hair. "You're right. No more lazing around."
Siya slid out of bed, grabbing her clothes as she mentally prepared for the day. Catching a glimpse of Abhimanyu scrolling through his phone, his reassuring presence reminded her she wasn't alone in this journey.
"You're going to do great," he said suddenly as if reading her thoughts. She smiled, her nerves easing. "Thanks, Abhi."

Later that evening, while stuck in traffic, something unusual caught his attention—a woman walking with a teenage girl. His heart skipped a beat as he realized it was Alia, someone from his past. Without thinking, he pulled over and stepped out of his car.
"Alia?" he called out cautiously. She turned, surprise lighting up her face. "Abhimanyu! It's been ages!" she said with a warm smile, pulling him into a quick hug. "This is my sister, Kiara."
Abhimanyu smiled at the girl. "Hi, Kiara. Nice to meet you." Then, turning back to Alia, he asked, "How have you been?"
"I'm good," Alia replied with a soft smile. She glanced at the ring on his finger and raised her eyebrows. "You're married?" Abhimanyu nodded. "Yes, her name's Siya."
A flicker of recognition crossed Alia's face. "Siya," she repeated. "So you two found your way back to each other."
Abhimanyu frowned in confusion. "What do you mean by 'found our way back'? How do you know Siya?" Alia hesitated. "Abhi... do you not remember anything?"
His chest tightened at her words. "I had an accident," he explained slowly. "I lost parts of my memory."
Alia looked at him with concern. "That makes sense now. Do you want me to tell you what I know?" Abhimanyu nodded, his heart racing. "Yes, please."
Alia asked Kiara to step aside and then began to explain. As she spoke, bits and pieces of memories started surfacing in Abhimanyu's mind—moments with Siya, both happy and painful. The images overwhelmed him.
Suddenly, he stumbled back, clutching his chest as panic set in. His vision blurred, and he collapsed to the ground, struggling to breathe. "Abhi!" Alia shouted, kneeling beside him. "Help! Somebody help!"
