A/N: I want to thank you guys for the positive response I have seen so far, it means a lot to me. I spent weeks recording my hard mode playthrough and then slowing typing it out, as well as planning out and incorporating my own ideas/additions in a way that won't interfere or affect the main story. At times I was worried that this would be something that I put a lot of time and effort into and then hardly anyone would read it but in the span of a few hours this story already had around 300 views and over the weekend that number doubled to over 600 views which erased any doubts I had about doing this so thank you guys I hope you enjoy this story the changes and additions I made to the game's story.
The next morning Lara wakes up only to see that everyone is already up and decides to get dressed and go introduce herself to her new housemates. Putting on her Ravenclaw robes she makes her way up the stairs to the common room, taking in the beauty of her new home. The ceiling is painted a deep blue with golden constellations, the walls are a nice vanilla white and the stairs are a nice chocolate brown. The library has a small fireplace in the middle of the room and the walls are covered in large windows. On the other side of the room, a lovely statue of their founder, Rowena Ravenclaw.
People gaped at the beauty of the Ravenclaw common room, while the Ravenclaws had smug looks on their faces. Lily is somewhat disappointed she wasn't sorted into Ravenclaw but then she thinks about how if she had she may not have gotten together with James, Hermione has similar thoughts. (A/N: Out of all the 4 houses in this game, the Ravenclaw Common room is my favorite.)
She comes across a boy in glasses hiding around a corner.
Everett Clopton: "One moment. Watch this."
He rolls what looks like a cupcake with a fuse towards two girls. Green smoke and flies surround them before a foul smell chases them away, the boy seems disappointed.
Everett Clopton: "That wasn't quite the reaction I wanted. Ah, well."
Lara: "What did you hope would happen?"
Everett Clopton: "I suppose I hoped it would lighten the mood. Ravenclaws can be a bit on edge the first day of class. I'm Everett, by the way. You seem downright calm next to some of these characters - and you survived a rather harrowing trip here!"
"Some things never change it seems." Harry mutters referring to how fast rumors spread at Hogwarts.
Lara: "Harrowing indeed, I'm Lara. I'm still a bit on edge myself and a little nervous for classes to start."
Everett: "You needn't be worried. Truly, there's no reason to be nervous. Most professors are firm but fair. I mean, not all of the tricks I play are as simple as a tossed Dungbomb, and I'm still here."
Lara: "Wait - did you say 'most' professors are firm but fair?"
Everett: "Ha! I did. But, probably best I let you judge for yourself. I do tend to push their limits. I should wander off before someone traces that Dungbomb back to me. Nice meeting you Lara."
