Now that she has the password to the Headmaster's office Lara rushes up the enchanted staircase as quickly as she can without drawing attention to herself.
People felt jealous watching Lara climb the lovely spiral staircase, they want to know whose bright idea it was to replace it with the annoying moving stairs they have now.
I don't know how long Professor Fig can keep Professor Black occupied, I need to get to his office quickly. Five minutes later she arrives at the Gargoyle that guards the entrance to the Headmaster's office.
Lara: "'Toujours pur.'"
The pillar underneath the gargoyle raises up, a spiral staircase forming around it. I wonder if all the elite wizarding families have a motto. Hmm, I wonder what the Potter's - er, my family's motto is? At the top of the staircase she sees the walls covered in the sleeping portraits of past headmasters/headmistresses, she looks around the entryway for Professor Fitzgerald's portrait but sees no sign of her. As she continues looking she notices the Sorting Hat locked inside a glass box looking very unhappy, seems Black doesn't like being watched.
"Well that's kinda cruel, the poor hat only gets to do one thing a year and now it's locked in a box."
Niamh Fitzgerald: "It's good to see you."
Startled, she looks in the direction of the voice and finally spots Professor Fitzgerald's portrait.
Lara: "All thanks to Professor Fig's quick thinking. Now what?"
Niamh Fitzgerald: "Approach the pedestal in the antechamber and read the book that appears."
"Read a book, what kind of trial is that?" Ron pouts, clearly disappointed.
"Not every trial needs to be so adventurous Mr Weasley." Dumbledore replies.
Lara: "What can I expect to find in the book?"
Niamh Fitzgerald: "A story. I cannot say more. You may recognise some elements of it, as I was inspired by a tale with which many wizarding children are familiar."
Lara: "I suspect there will be more to this than reading a book."
Niamh Fitzgerald: "Your suspicions are correct. We shall speak when you are finished."
Has this been under the Headmaster's nose all this time? She walks up the stairs behind the headmaster's desk, at the top she finds a small round room with a small stone pedestal with a book on it, as she gets closer the book opens. That must be the pedestal. Yellow magic radiates from the open pages, suddenly she feels like her body is being stretched like a piece of taffy, a second later her body is sucked into the book which snaps shut.
"Lara!" Lily shouts.
Niamh's Book
We see a white screen, as the camera zooms out we see Lara but she looks like a drawing, she is colored in with black ink.
