"You like my hair, baby?" Trinity asked Meech, running her fingers through the sleek strands before re-doing her edges a little more to her liking.
They were both standing in the middle of the bathroom, just finished getting ready, and looking at their reflection in the big mirror while Meech's hands were wrapped around her waist, his head resting on her shoulder.
And that's when he looked at her hair, truly observing it while she was smiling and waiting for his response.
"Yeah, you look beautiful" He nodded, his arms tightening around her slightly. His reply was straightforward and his tone somewhat soft.
"Really?" Trinity paused, her eyes widening in surprise. She barely ever heard him say that, so it definitely took her by surprise.
Trinity's new wig she had installed on herself hours earlier was a straight, and jet-black look that fell all the way to her stomach, about 24 inches long. The middle part was pulled back into a neat ponytail at the back of her head, while the sides hung loose, framing her face in a stylish half-up, half-down look.
The wig was made of high-quality too, silky hair that looked and felt natural. It blended seamlessly with her scalp, giving the appearance of real hair.
Now she wasn't a pro at both styling and doing hair, but she had managed to do pretty well whenever she did decide to do her own hair. And it looked fabulous every time.
"Yeah, I'm for real. Why you acting like that? Like I never compliment you or some" He chuckled, backing up and playfully breaking his neck at the woman.
That's when Tink shook her head nothing and sat the edges brush down, giving him her full and undivided attention.
The time had neared six, nearly seven in the evening, and they were both preparing to visit Meech's parent's house, as his mother had finally set a specific day for them to visit. Trinity was dressed in a sleeveless bodysuit, paired with baggy light wash jeans from Fashion Nova, topped with a green knitted cardigan since December was approaching in a couple of days and it was starting to get more chilly.
Completing her look, she also wore matching green Marni sabot loafers and adorned herself with gold jewelry. Meanwhile, Meech was wearing an oversized brown Represent sweater, paired with cargo pants in the same hue and Dior B30 sneakers. Their rich scents were mixed together—and they actually looked like a married couple who were in love.
"Can I ask you something?" Trinity then inquired outta nowhere.
"Wassup?" The pair faced one another, Meech towering a few inches above Tink, causing him to naturally look down while she reached up to run her fingers through his beard—her favorite feature about him.
She thought he looked so handsome while a small smile graced her lips, though she could tell that what she was finna ask might stir up unnecessary drama, potentially dampening the mood of their evening together.
