When 5:49 hit the clock the next day, Trinity was already dressed and ready to go. She wore a PLT red contour long-sleeve two-piece, a black sleeveless puffer jacket, and matching 1906r New Balances. Her hair, still looking fresh, was styled into a sleek middle part, left flowing down naturally.
She also added a touch of glam with gold earrings and some lip gloss. But when Trinity looked in the mirror for the last time to make sure she was all good, that's when her phone pinged—a text from Von saying he was down the street.
Meech was sprawled out on the living room couch, remote slipping from his hand, mouth wide open. He was out cold, clearly exhausted from the long day. Trinity didn't feel not an ounce of guilt when she walked passed him either.
So after spraying some Dior J'adore perfume, which filled the room with a soft, feminine bouquet of florals and a hint of fruity sweetness, she grabbed her phone and wallet and headed out the door.
Stepping outside, she took a deep breath of the cool evening air. It didn't take long to spot Dayvon's car down the street. His car was unmistakable, and the sight of it brought a smile to her face. She was glad she chose a comfortable outfit, ready for whatever the evening might bring.
When Tink then approached the vehicle, Von got out and walked over to meet her and to also open up the car door for her.
"Hey, you" Trinity greeted him with a warm smile.
"Hi baby" He replied, taking in her appearance before they both naturally went in for a hug. It wasn't a short one either. But it took everything in Dayvon to not grab her ass. "You look good as hell"
"Thank you handsome face" Tink felt a blush creep up her cheeks. She then got into the car, and he shut the door behind her, moments before walking around to the driver's side and getting in, his eyes lingering on her for a moment.
"Ready to go?"
"Absolutely" The woman settled into the seat. That's when she heard a small cough behind her, causing her to turn around and see Kasim, who had a big smile on his face.
"Hi, Kasim. Do you remember me? My name is Trinity"
"Nooo," Trinity's eyes widened with a laugh, which made Dayvon laugh too. "I don't have any kids. Jabari is my brother"
"Oh, sorry. You guys look alike" The little boy said, his little face scrunching up in confusion.
"I know, right?" Trinity shook her head with another short laugh. "It's the family genes"
"Remember Kasim, I told you daddy was going to bring a friend along? This is Meech's wife" Dayvon then said with a smirk, throwing a playful glance at Trinity.
"Meech's wife?" Kasim repeated, his eyes wide with curiosity.
That's when Trinity's eyes popped wide open, and she playfully slapped Dayvon on the shoulder, scolding him. "No, Kasim, sweetie. Your daddy just likes to joke around a lot with his non-funny self" she told him, giving Dayvon a mock glare.
