"She's high, she lives in the sky tonight, she's satisfied, rolling back her eyes and then..." The song played through the radio in our living room from one of the cd's my Aunt made with a playlist of songs I love. Since I can't use cellphones because of being a demigod, those cd's are what saves my days.
Yesterday we ended up sleeping on the couch, in between the food with the tv on. The white couch in the middle of the living room wasn't that comfortable to sleep on, but big enough to not fall from it. I woke up with my hand inside the popcorn bowl and my Aunt had her feet on my armpit. So comfortable, I know. All of that resulted in back pain but Aunt Lina said it was good because she could finally do one of the stretch videos she saw once. That was one of her best ideas because it got rid of the pain right away.
"You eat too much, Maria, oh my god." My Aunt jokes. She was seated on the kitchen island eating another slice of cake and I was washing the dishes.
"Me? You sure about that?" I smiled looking up at her.
"Yeah—" She took a sip of coke, "Like, look at all this mess."
"That I'm cleaning alone while you're drinking coke at ten in the morning, how healthy."
"Leave me alone kid, I'm already a grown up, I can do whatever I want." She moved her hand dismissively. "Let's enjoy that today is Sunday and stay just like we are; Pajamas, coke, cake and tv." She said opening the fridge. "We could also get some pizza for lunch, what do you think?"
"I think that we should." I nodded, drying my hands on the dish cloth and pulling my shorts down.
I was still in my pajamas, wearing one of those pink Victoria secret shorts, and the black strapless top. My hair was tied in a high bun I made quickly and I've lost one of my socks while sleeping. Haven't found it yet. My Aunt was almost the same, her hair messily on a ponytail, wearing shorts full of penguins and a gray hoodie from a random college.
"I'll take a quick shower and we can see which pizza we'll get." She threw the empty can on the trash and slowly placed down the plate with the cutlery inside the sink, where I had just finished cleaning.
I narrowed my eyes at her, seeing her smile funny and apologizing. "Sorry, sweetie. You're doing a good job, had to make sure you keep going like that." Then she ran to the bathroom, leaving me smiling alone at the kitchen.

"Party like a Rockstar! Can I get a what, now? I swear I'll do anything that I have to... Just to forget about you!" We have to agree that Big Time Rush is amazing, right? I was jumping and dancing around the living room as I threw things in the trash. The window's curtains were open, the sun lighting up the place. The plants looked happy to be finally taking their sun bath, the light reflected on the glass of the center table making a rainbow appear by the white and brown mat and the white walls.
The doorbell rang, the sound echoing over the song through the apartment making me stand up straight. Pausing the music I walked over the door taking a look by the door peephole.
My eyes widened seeing Percy standing outside. I glanced down at my clothes and yelled "Tia Lina! Perseus 'tá aqui" which she only replied with a muffled "And I'm in the shower, what do you want me to do? Let him in!"
I rolled my eyes, why is she taking so long in the shower? I ran quickly to my room, getting a random black hoodie and pulling down my shorts while going back to the door.
"You came to help clean the house? You didn't have to, thank you!" I said as soon as I opened the door.
His eyebrows knit together, "Clean the house? Dude, I came for the cake."
