School sucks. That's all I have to say.

I was praying to every god to make it end because I couldn't take that anymore. Having to wake up early and listen to seven different teachers telling me things that are important to my future but don't stick in my head is shitty.

My routine has been turned into waking up, going to school, back at home, homework, going to camp and sleep.

At the same time it was going well, I missed annoying Maria. The way she rolled her eyes, how her cheeks got red when I teased her. I missed her teasing smiles and comments, just her presence beside me.

Things felt easier when she was near me.

"Percy," I heard Paul say. "Your mom is talking to you, did you hear her?"

I blinked, looking up from the blue pancakes to my mother in front of me. "Sorry, mom."

She smiled softly, then pointed to something beside my plate. "I said you received something. Open it, hm?" Then she ate a piece of her pancake, pointing with her chin again.

It was a white envelope. I frowned since I wasn't waiting for anything, didn't even start to apply for colleges, what would it be?

I just hope it's not a god asking me to go on a quest, I'm not really in the mood and next week is testing, I have to be present.

I let down my fork, getting the envelope and analyzing. My heart clenched as I saw Perseus Jackson written on the back. It was her handwriting, all capitalized but drawn like she took her time to make it look pretty, even though I noticed she writes like that when in a rush too.

At first I didn't want to open it. We could assume that I was scared of what could be inside. A lot of possibilities passed through my mind and none of them would actually be possible.

"I'll be back," I said standing up, putting the chair back on its place and rushing to my room. I threw myself in the bed, ruffling my hair as I took courage to open the envelope.

First thing I saw was the border of what could be the sky. When I pulled out I saw a picture of her.

She looked breathtaking. So beautiful my chest ached at the sight of. Standing in between the waves as the water hit her tanned skin at the height of the middle of her thighs, her hair was swiped to the right signaling where the breeze was coming.

She held her hands near her chest in a surfer sign, a big smile playing on her face. The sky painted a mix of purple and pink in the background, contrasting with the dark blue ocean.

I've seen Maria wearing short and tight clothes before, some shirts exposing her stomach, and I even held onto her exposed skin before. But, gods, nothing compares seeing her in a bikini.

Don't get me wrong, my heart beat increased with that sight of her. Since I became part of the same group of friends as her, I had to deal with listening to her talk about how the clothes in New York weren't exactly made for everyone. Maria always had to fix something on the clothes she bought because of the way her body was.

My eyes took their time analyzing her. Small waist leading down to wider hips, where the thin strap of her bikini was raised exposing the tanned mark she got. Her face was also tanned, but her cheeks had that red color on top of her freckles, which also darkened around her shoulders and collarbone.

I felt a little bit jealous of those who saw her there, while all I had was a picture. Well, it sucks for them, I can stare at her whenever I want.

My hands were shaking, a lump formed on my throat as I turned the picture and saw that she wrote something. It was kinda messy, but all perfectly written;
