"Guess who's going on a quest? Hint: It's not Perseus."

Now, what color would you paint your nails? Because I'm between black or a dark shade of red, like wine color, you know?

I was sitting in my bed, my nails polish laying in front of me while I searched for my nail file. "Found it!" I smiled as Silena entered the cabin. She stopped in front of me and took it from my hand.

"You are coming with me." She said.

"Nah, I'm not going anywhere, Lena. My nails need to be done." I showed it to her.

Silena made a face, pulling my hand near her eyes. "Damn, you really need it."

"Oh, really?" I asked sarcastically.

She rolled her eyes, "Anyways, I need you to come to the council."

"But I never go, why now?"

"I have a feeling this has to do with you. Now come." She held my wrist and pulled me to the rec room. The other cabin leaders were already in their seats, everyone around a ping pong table.

Pretty cool, huh?

Silena put me seated beside her, finally handing me my nail file. Percy, Thalia and Grover entered the room not much later. Thalia had an angry expression since we lost the game and her little fight with Percy. After the meeting with the Oracle during capture the flag, Grover and Percy were chosen to take our friend back to her room.

I know I act like I don't care, but this prophecy stuck in my mind. I kept trying to make it make sense. Rule number one when you receive a prophecy; Don't think about it. Just let things happen because if you don't, you'll go crazy.

Dionysus waved his hand and supplied snacks: Cheez Whiz, crackers, and several bottles of red wine. Then Chiron reminded him that wine was against his restrictions and most of us were underage. Mr. D sighed. With a snap of his fingers the wine turned to Diet Coke. Nobody drank that either. I prefer at least Coke Zero.

Mr. D and Chiron (in wheelchair form) sat at one end of the table. Zoë and Bianca di Angelo (who had kind of become Zoë's personal assistant) took the other end. Thalia, Grover, Percy and Castor (son of Dionysus along with his twin brother Pollux, and Gabriel) sat along the right, and the other head councilors—Beckendorf, Silena Beauregard (and me), and the Stoll brothers—sat on the left. The Ares kids were supposed to send a representative, too, but all of them had gotten broken limbs (accidentally?) during capture the flag, courtesy of the Hunters. They were resting up in the infirmary with the help of the Apollo kids.

Zoë started the meeting off on a positive note. "This is pointless."

"What little Princess is doing here?" Percy asked, pointing at me with a scowl on his face. His attention one hundred percent on the meeting.

"I'm going to sing after we're done." I looked at him seriously.

"For real?"

"No, dumbass. Silena asked me to come."

"Oh."

"Cheez Whiz!" Grover gasped. He began scooping up crackers and Ping-Pong balls and spraying them with topping.

"There is no time for talk," Zoë continued. "Our goddess needs us. The Hunters must leave immediately."

"And go where?" Chiron asked.

"West!" Bianca said. I was amazed at how different she looked after just a few days with the Hunters. Her dark hair was braided like Zoë's now, so you could actually see her face. She had a splash of freckles across her nose, and her dark eyes vaguely reminded me of someone famous, but I couldn't think who. She looked like she'd been working out, and her skin glowed faintly, like the other Hunters, as if she'd been taking showers in liquid moonlight. "You heard the prophecy. Six shall go west to the goddess in chains. We can get six hunters and go."
