The only thing that Ron left with his friends was the radio. It was on and played a soft tune quietly. Y/N heard it outside very well as the night was completely silent. She was sitting outside again as she couldn't bear being inside the stuffy tent, making eye contact with Harry and Hermione. Hermione handled the situation well, she was calm and collected, reading some books most of the time. Harry on the other hand was a mess which wasn't a surprise to Y/N in no way. Harry had been pacing around the tent almost every day, the pendant around his neck one of the main reasons he did so. Y/N heard his footsteps slightly but they flew past her ears and she paid no attention to it.

A moment like this was one of the many reasons Y/N wished for the war to be over. The whole Wizarding World was turned upside down, the good turned bad and the bad continued as bad. Many known and unknown wizards were killed. The radio had at least two death announcements daily and every time it came on Y/N crossed her fingers to not hear Gorge's or Fred's or actually any of the Weasley's name on it. She didn't care if her parents' names were on there because as parents, they existed to her no more. It wasn't like it would happen anyway as her parents were memorable Death Eaters.

A song Y/N hadn't heard before began playing, the guitar at the beginning soothing her. She heard footsteps inside the tent behind her. Y/N joined the two as it was getting too cold for her liking. Hermione and Harry were in the middle of dancing, wide smiles beaming on their face. Y/N smiled a little too seeing her friends so happy after a while of grim faces and sulking moods. The pair danced around the tent as she eyed them.

Y/N missed her fiancée. She needed to see him. It wasn't a want anymore. The long six months were hard for her with every day passing without seeing him, feeling his touch, hearing his voice and cheerful laugh that she adored. If Y/N could, she would have sent an owl already - asked how George was doing, how the shop was doing, if Fred was well, if Molly and Arthur were well, did Ron make it home safely. Thousands of questions plagued her mind daily and watching Harry and Hermione dance so carefreely gave her a slight hope. Hope that after the war was over she could see George's smiling face as he entered the shop bustling with customers. Hope that Y/N could become an Auror and fight off everything that caused the current situation. Hope that life would return to normal and that for once in her life she would have her own home where she could go to and feel loved.

The song was slowly coming to an end. Hermione and Harry giggled like they were first-year students again when life was simple and enjoyable with no Voldemort in sight. Harry and Hermione backed away from each other as Harry went to grab the pendant around his neck. "Whose turn?" He asked quietly, fiddling with the necklace. "Mine," Y/N replied and stepped closer to Harry. "Are you sure? You don't have to..." Hermione's smile dropped as she put a hand on Y/N's shoulder. "I'm sure," Y/N gave a slight reassuring smile and placed the pendant around her neck.
