The Burrow was bustling with activity as the wedding date drew closer. Molly and Arthur were busy preparing for the big day, while the rest of the family helped out with the various tasks that needed to be completed. As Y/N walked outside to join everyone in preparations for the wedding, her eyes immediately landed on George. He was amongst the group of people setting up the venue. The redhead looked up as she approached, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips when he saw her. George closed the distance between them, wrapping his arm around her and reaching out to take her hand, intertwining their fingers and lifting her hand to press a soft kiss on her knuckles. "Good morning, future Mrs. Weasley," he said in a low tone, a playful smirk playing on his lips as he continued, "How did you sleep?" "I slept well," she replied, "But I couldn't wait to wake up because tomorrow I'm marrying the love of my life." George chuckled as he brushed a loose strand of hair away from her face and replied, "That makes the two of us, love." Y/N made her way back inside and into the kitchen, she noticed Molly fluttering around, clearly anxious and tense. Ginny, Hermione, and Fleur were also present, helping with various tasks and chatting amongst themselves. She joined the group in the kitchen with a sympathetic smile, silently offering her assistance and support. After a few moments, however, Molly rushed to her side and snatched the sponge out of her hands. "Oh dear, you mustn't work!" the older woman began, her voice laced with concern, "You are the bride-to-be!" She started guiding her away from the counter towards the chair. "It's okay, I-" Y/N started to protest, but Molly shook her head and said with a firm yet in motherly tone, "Nonsense. Your wedding is tomorrow and you must conserve your energy and rest." Y/N smiled softly and nodded realising there was no point convincing the woman.

The morning of the wedding had arrived. Y/N's heart pounded in her chest, a whirlwind of emotions swirling inside her. She sat in front of a mirror, her eyes fixated on her reflection, but her mind elsewhere. Hermione noticed her expression, she reached out and gave Y/N's shoulder a gentle shake. She snapped out of her thoughts and sighed, "Sorry, Mione', just thinking" Hermione smiled reassuringly and commented, "I was just downstairs, everything is where it needs to be and it looks absolutely amazing, besides you're marrying the love of your life, nothing can go wrong." Y/N smiled softly, thanking the girl and after a few short moments the others joined and started getting her ready for the ceremony. After some time, Fleur finished up Y/N's makeup, it was simple yet elegant as she added the final touches and stepped back, admiring her work with a satisfied smile. "Merveilleux," she commented in her delicate French accent, "You look gorgeous, Y/N." Y/N smiled back and said, "Thank you," before standing up. Hermione and Fleur helped her get into her dress and started zipping it up while Ginny was working on her hair, ensuring every strand was in place. They smoothed out the material and stepped back so Y/N could put on her heels. "All done," Ginny said as she put in the hairpiece and walked next to the others. Y/N turned around and saw her reflection in the mirror, her breath catching in her throat at the sight.

Her dress was fit to perfection, hugging her figure gracefully as the white material flowed down to the ground. Her hair was styled in a low bun with a few delicate strands framing her face. The hairpiece matched the crystals of the dress, looking like sparkling drops under the sun. As Y/N turned around to face her friends, her eyes shining with tears, Ginny muttered quickly with a trembling tone, "Don't cry or you'll make us cry." Hermione and Fleur stood on either side of her, both teary-eyed themselves. Y/N chuckled, her voice slightly shaky as she struggled to keep her emotions in check meanwhile Fleur stepped forward and dabbed her tears away while scolding jokingly, "No crying, we can't have you ruining our makeup." "I'm trying my best not to," Y/N said, laughter mingling her words. After expressing her heartfelt thanks to the girls they started slowly going down the stairs. As they descended the stairs and neared the garden, Hermione went next to Y/N, "George will be completely bewitched by you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "He's going to fall in love with you all over again when he sees you." After a few reassuring words, they bid her farewell.
