Chie Pov:

As I walked through the expansive halls of the Cuenca mansion, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by its size.

Turning a corner, I entered a room filled with sunlight, casting a warm glow over everything it touched. My eyes were drawn to the photographs lining the walls that held me captivated.

There she was, a younger version of my mother, captured in a moment of youthful radiance. Her smile was as bright as the sun, her eyes alive with laughter and joy. It was a side of her I hadn't seen before, lagi kasi siyang grumpy.

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the room shifted. I turned to see Madam Imelda standing in the doorway.

"Chie, there you are" came from Madam Imelda's voice from behind me. "I see you've found Rachel's old photographs."

I turned to face her, feeling a flush of embarrassment at being caught snooping. "I'm sorry, Madam Imelda" I apologized, hastily placing the photograph back on the desk. "I didn't mean to intrude."

Madam Imelda waved off my apology with a reassuring smile. "It's quite alright, my dear" she said kindly.

My mom lived a remarkable life, I wonder what happened, why my mom and grandma lost touch. Maybe there was a huge fight between them?

"Mauna na ako dear, I still have a lot of work to do" I nodded in response.

I wonder where my mom is right now. Is she at school, siguro? So I asked one of the maids here, "Excuse me po, do you know where my mom is?"

"Ah, ma'am, kakaalis lang po. Hindi ba't kausap nyo kanina?" Oh, I forgot my mom is just 18 years old now.

"I mean Rachel?" Lalo silang nagtaka sa pinagsasabi ko. "Ma'am, okay lang po ba kayo?"

After walking around the mansion, I got tired and hungry. Lafang time. I wonder what food they will serve.

Just as I was about to eat, I heard a voice behind me. Ang tikas ng boses ha. Wait, is that my lolo?

"Rachel, dear, I thought you already left yesterday. What changed your mind?" It's my first time seeing my grandfather, he died before I was born.

"Ahm, I'm not Rachel po, I'm Chie."

Grandpa's brow furrowed in confusion. "But you look just like her, my daughter," he said, gesturing towards me.

I smiled apologetically. "I get that a lot po" I admitted. "But I'm Chie, not Rachel."

"Oh, I see. Imelda told me about you. Makakalimutin na ako" he was laughing, he really looks like me and mom, especially when laughing.

"Wow, your face is a copy of Rachel. It's as if she's right in front of me. Iba talaga lahi ng mga Cuenca"

"Kain po tayo." Gutom na gutom na ako lo pasensya na. "Sige hija, salamat."

"I wonder who's your parents? i heard that you're also Cuenca right?" fuck paano to

"O-opo" Hindi na ulit siya nag tanong

As lolo nodded and walked away, I couldn't help but feel relieved that the misunderstanding was cleared up.

After I ate, the maid showed me where the guest rooms are. "Thank you po."

I feel so tired. Ang daming nangyari. I lay in bed while thinking how to go back. I really miss them. Ginaslight ko nalang sarili ko na nasa New York na ako.

I woke up in the middle of the road. "Hello? Is anyone here?" How do I get here?

"Hellooo, is anybody here?"
