Sir Ryan took Clara home in an ambulance, and Dr. Steven was arrested. I couldn't wait for Clara to wake up—I needed to visit her tomorrow.

RYAN'S POV

We arrived home, and I gently placed her on my bed, carefully hanging her IV drip. I was so disorganized, I couldn't eat, I couldn't even take my medication.

After taking a shower, I lay beside her on the bed. She slept so peacefully, and a smile escaped my lips as memories of our first meeting flooded my mind. Why is she so crazy tho ?

I couldn't wait for her to open her eyes. I wanted to see them so badly.

I don't regret coming back for you, Clara. I am so glad I didn't let hatred blind me.

Brushing her hair away from her face, I whispered, "I don't know what I did to deserve being called your angel, but to me, you are the angel here."

You saved Anna.
You saved me.
Thank you so much.

I found you, I am so glad I did, now that I found you , what next. I don't know how to even be a friend.

The few friends I have literally forced their selves into Me, she is the first time I met someone, liked them and openly desired to be closer to them.

CLARA'S POV

Argh, I feel dizzy. I've been pretending to be unconscious for so long now, it feels like I'm truly unconscious.

When I woke up at midnight, I found myself in Sir Ryan's bed. He had already removed the IV drip.

If it were you, would you wake up?

I scooted closer to him, still pretending to be asleep. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share the same bed with him.

I cherished every little moment—the way he brushed my hair back, checked my temperature, or gently adjusted the blanket to cover me better.

It was the best night of my life. I must admit, being sick has its perks.

I opened my eyes to find it was already morning—7 a.m. Sir Ryan wasn't in the room.

Omg, he's coming!

I quickly closed my eyes and stayed perfectly still.

He sat beside me and brushed my hair back again.

"Clara, since you don't seem to have any plans of waking up, I guess I'll just have to bathe you. The cook isn't here, and you reek of medication and smoke. I have no choice," he said.

What?! No, no, no! Don't even try it!

"Well," he continued, "it's not like there's anything I haven't seen before. It's no big deal."

I felt his hand brush the hem of my top, and I instantly opened my eyes in shock. He smiled knowingly.

"Are you tired of staying still? You've been awake since 12:30. Now, how should I punish you, Clara?" he said.

I couldn't believe he knew! I smiled. He's so smart.

"Well, sir, my spirit was awake, but maybe my body was sleeping," I said. He smiled.

"Mmm, I'm glad that now both your body and spirit are awake," he replied,  playfully patting my hair,  as though  messing it up.

I grinned happily.

"Thank you so much for taking care of me, sir," I said.

He smiled back.

"I should be thanking you," he replied. I blushed.
