Ryan didn't kiss me back, but he didn't move away either. He just let me have it.

I pulled myself together, hastily pulling away , my hands flying up to my lips.

What did I just do?

He smirked seductively before looking away. Embarrassment surged through me, and I quickly lowered my gaze. Without a word, he took my hand and led me out of the club.

How do I explain this? What if he finds out I actually have feelings for him?

I remained silent as we left.

Soon, we arrived at a nearby hotel, only to be told that there was just one room left.

Uncomfortable with the idea, we stepped out to check the next hotel, but there were no rooms available.

We had no choice but to return to the first one.

Inside the room, Ryan locked the door behind us.

I stood by the entrance, watching as he unfastened his watch then  tiredly removed his rings.

I remained rooted to the spot.

He looked up at me.

"What's wrong?" he asked, his voice calm.

"Well, sir... about the kiss—"

He chuckled softly.

"It's nothing," he said simply.

I nodded.

"Take a shower," he whispered.

I nodded again before heading into the bathroom.

What is wrong with me?

I sank into the tub, resting my head against the edge. The only thing running through my mind was him—kissing him, laughing with him.

I can't seem to control myself around him anymore. I feel so much hunger for him. I've never felt like this before.

Submerging my face beneath the water, I held my breath before slowly resurfacing.

With a sigh, I stood up and reached for the robe hanging nearby. It draped over me, the soft fabric falling in a way that revealed my cleavage. I had never worn one before, so I assumed this was how it was meant to look.

I stepped back into the room.

Ryan's gaze flickered to my chest before a faint smile tugged at his lips. Heat rushed to my cheeks, and I quickly used my hand to cover myself.

"You tied it wrong," he said.

"Huh?"

"Tie it from the other side," he instructed.

"Oh, okay." I rushed into the dressing room.

I fixed it properly and hurried back out. Ryan was on the phone, walking past me as he lazily undid the buttons of his shirt.
