CLARA'S POV

I smiled as I admired my outfit for the health conference. Luckily, my mum gave me this bag at just the right time.

Ryan would be there for sure. I'm finally going to see him. Why am I blushing? I covered my face with both hands, a happy grin spreading across my face.

"Get serious, Clara," I muttered to myself, shaking my head.

Still, curiosity nagged at me. I wanted to ask Mum about the lady on the third floor. The thought of her kept me restless; if I didn't ask, I might not sleep tonight.

Just then, my mum walked into my room, carrying a cup of milk. Perfect timing.

She sat down, handing me the milk with a smile. As she touched my hair gently, I braced myself. This gesture usually meant she was about to ask the same annoying question.

"Clara, have you gotten a boyfriend yet?" she asked.

"Mum!" I screamed, and she shivered.

"Sorry, I'll stop asking," she said, a sheepish smile on her face.

I decided to switch the subject. "Mum, the lady on the third floor—who is she?"

"What?" she exclaimed, her voice rising in alarm. "Did you go there? Are you out of your mind? Do you want to get killed? How did you even pass security? Are you crazy?"

"I didn't go there, Mum!" I said quickly. "It was in my dream. I keep telling you, I've received my prophetic calling. I can see through walls now."

"Really, my child?" she asked, her tone shifting to awe.

"Yes. Let me show you." I lay down on my bed, facing upwards with my hands crossed over my chest. "Mum Once I lie In this position, I leave my body. Last night, I visited the third floor and saw the pretty lady there. There is a pretty lady there, right?"

"Yes," my mum replied, her voice trembling. "Oh my God! Did God really take you there?"

"I'm telling you," I said solemnly.

"What else did God say?" she asked.

"He said, 'Go home and ask your mother what's happening on the third floor. If you don't, the punishment of heaven will fall on her.'" I looked at her with a convincing expression.

She gasped. "Okay, I'll tell you. Oh God, I'll tell you everything I know."

I grinned, satisfied.

"Her name is Anastasia Alexandra Grande I," Mum began. "She's the eldest and most beloved daughter of Sir Alexander Grande, the founder of AGHC—Anastasia Grande Health Center."

"Wow," I replied, intrigued.

"After her accident, Ryan himself operated on her multiple times. In tears, in desperation, he did everything humanly possible to save her. But Anastasia remains the only patient Ryan couldn't revive."

"Who is she to him?" I asked.

"AGHC and RD Group have the largest hospitals in the world. To merge their empires, they arranged for their children—Anastasia and Ryan—to marry," Mum explained.

I nodded, taking it all in.

"Their love was so strong. They were a true power couple," she continued, smiling wistfully.

"Anna wasn't just breathtakingly beautiful; she was a force to be reckoned with. Intelligent and commanding, her presence alone could silence a room. As CEO, she took AGHC to unimaginable heights," Mum said, pride lacing her words.
