                      CLARA'S POV

I wore my black skirt and paired it with my yellow shirt. Then, I slipped on my white shoes and grabbed my red bag, making sure the colors weren't overwhelming. After doing my makeup, I hurried out of the room.

Ryan was sitting quietly on the couch.

He was dressed in an all-white set—it was so fine it almost took my breath away.

I walked over and stood in front of him.

He looked up from his phone, and a smile escaped his lips.

"Take it off," he said.

"Huh?" I asked, blinking in confusion.

"You can't wear more than three colors at a time, Clara. It's not proper ?" he said .

I nodded then I quickly turned to rush away.

"The makeup too," he called out just as I reached my door.

"Huh—"

"Wash it off. Completely," he said firmly.

"Oh... okay, sir," I said, my voice small. I hurried back into my room and washed off my makeup, even though I didn't see what was wrong with it.

Afterward, I swapped my yellow shirt for a white one to tone down the colors. Now, I looked more coordinated.

I rushed out but tripped and fell. Dusting myself off, I looked up at him apologetically.

"Sorry, sir," I said, embarrassed then I stood up.

He simply watched me move over , then took my hand and gently pulled me closer.

"Each time you fall, I'll deduct from your salary," he said calmly , his fingers adjusting the collar of my shirt.

"Huh? Sir, that means you won't pay me at all because I fall all the time," I said .

Ryan knocked me lightly on the head, making me laugh again.

He continued arranging my shirt collar properly, then removed my necklace—it had faded terribly. Next, he buttoned my shirt properly- oh I didn't even realize my buttons opened.

Ryan slipped off my ten beaded bracelets and placed them all in my palm.

I bowed and rushed out to drop everything in my room. On my way back, he called out again.

"Perfume."

"Oh, I forgot!" I shouted, running back into my room. I quickly applied some, then darted back to him.

"Sir, what about now?" I whispered , dusting off my clothes.

"Better. Let's go," he said.

I grinned happily and followed him outside.

Soon, we arrived at a big mall.

"He's so handsome," I overheard a girl say.

"Is that the girlfriend? She doesn't suit him at all," another scoffed.

"I swear, she looks like a nun," someone added with a laugh.

I glared at the group of girls, my cheeks burning. If I was not on my journey to become a proper lady, I would have dragged their hairs out.

Ryan, as usual, was focused on his phone. He keeps getting calls from doctors . Pictures of surgery, conditions, i don't think any branch of r.d can perform perfectly independent of him him. We walked past the mall because the road led to the cinema.

I tried to focus on the surroundings, admiring the beautiful displays.

Suddenly, Ryan tapped me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I turned to him, and he handed me a small case.

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

"Your neck is bare," he said simply.

"Oh," I whispered, still puzzled. I opened the case, and my lips parted in shock.

The jewelry inside was stunning—expensive and exquisitely crafted. I had seen this trend online.

"But sir... I can't accept this," I said, gently pushing it back toward him.

"Why not? Friends share," he said softly, nudging the case back to me.

"But... thank you," I whispered, bowing slightly.

I hurried to a nearby mirror and quickly put on the necklace, earrings, and bracelet. They were so pretty that I couldn't stop smiling.

I rushed back to him, feeling giddy.

"Sir Ryan," I whispered shyly, showing him the accessories.

He smiled. "It's pretty."

I beamed,  and he gently patted my hair making me smile and touch my hair after him.

I adjusted my bag, and followed him as we strolled toward the cinema.

At the Cinema

The movie started, and I couldn't help but burst into laughter. It was hilarious!

At one particularly funny scene, I hit Ryan so hard that he shifted in his seat, startled.

"Ouch!" he exclaimed.

I laughed even harder.

The funny boy on the screen jumped into the water, and I couldn't control myself. I hit Ryan again, laughing endlessly.

"Do you want to kill me?" he asked, shifting away from me.

"Oh my God, sorry, sir," I said, bowing in apology.

Another funny scene came on, and I laughed even louder, hitting him again without thinking.

Ryan groaned and moved to the seat next to him—just slightly farther away, though my hands could still reach him.

                      RYAN'S  POV

Why is she laughing so much? The movie isn't even that funny!

She keeps hitting me—hard.

God, it's just our first outing. Will I come out of this alive?

Suddenly, she hit my shoulder again.

"Ouch!" I exclaimed.

But Clara didn't seem to notice. She was so carried away, laughing uncontrollably.

Then, out of nowhere, she hit my head.

"Oh God, do you want to kill me Clara?" I asked, moving even farther away.

"Sorry, sir! This boy is so—hahaha," she said, struggling to catch her breath from laughing.

She hit me again.

At this point, I gave up.

I should've known this was a bad idea.
