We both walked out and got into the car. I drove off, the silence between us heavy with unspoken thoughts. Clara spoke up for me today. It's unbelievable.
Nuella, on the other hand, is playing games with me. I keep asking her about that fake Nuella, but she keeps saying it's confidential.
I know I said I wouldn't look for her, but lately, I can't get her off my mind. And now, I have someone right here who reminds me of her every second.
I've never been like this..and I don't know what this is. I am a mess
It's not wrong, right? I mean, I just want to find her, maybe be friends or something. It's not like I want anything more—I love my woman.
But still... what am I doing?
That one day we spent together was the brightest day I've had in the past two years. Why wouldn't she be stuck in my head?
She's someone who made me laugh genuinely for the first time in years.

Soon, we arrived home. Clara walked straight to her room. She was weirdly quiet and organized, and it was unsettling. There's nothing organized about her.
I headed to my room and took a shower.
Not long after, Nuella called. I fell onto my bed and answered the call. She was already laughing.
"Why wouldn't you laugh? You're laughing at your wickedness," I said, picking up my other phone.
"Why are you looking for this girl? You have a fiancée , Ryan," she said.
"Are you crazy? Did I say anything like that? I just said I liked—"
"Her personality," she interrupted. "But it's not safe to become friends with a woman you like this much Ryan. You like her way too much. Trust me, I'm protecting you from cheating."
That made me laugh. "Are you Anna's best friend or mine?"
"I'm Anna's wife," she said, making me laugh harder.
"Please, just tell me who she is. I won't try to find her or anything. This is the first time I want to make a friend. Shouldn't you be proud of me? My therapist would be over the moon if he heard this," I said.
"Not a pretty woman. No!" she replied. "And besides, I promised her. We signed a contract."
"Get off my phone," I said, and she laughed before ending the call.
What Nuella doesn't know is that my secretary is already looking for the girl.
ANNA'S POV
I watched Tony from my window as he spoke to a patient outside.
He's changed so much. In my last memory of him, he was so innocent, quiet, shy. Now, he looks... hot.
There was a time when Tony was all I ever wanted in life.
Even after I moved in with Ryan, I told Tony to wait for me. But gradually, I got confused. Gradually, I started falling for Ryan.
Ryan—whom Daniella was waiting for.
And I—whom Tony was waiting for.
We got carried away in our own world and forgot about the people waiting for us.
Eventually, Ryan opened up to Daniella. But I still didn't break up with Tony.
I couldn't hurt him. He was way too fragile.
Ryan trusted me, and he sent me to end things with Tony. But when I got there, just one tear from him... and we ended up having sex instead.
I felt so guilty afterward that I broke up with him immediately. Then I ran away, crying.
It was on my way back that I had my accident. Why wouldn't I?
Ryan operated on me. At first, I thought he knew. I mean, I'd had unprotected sex, and he was the first person to handle my body—to cut it open. Even not getting pregnant... who else could have ensured that, if not him?
But judging from the way he visited me during my coma, I figured maybe he didn't know after all.
I am so grateful to God that he didn't find out, it would have been another trauma added to his series of trauma.
I was lucky last time. I would never risk that again. I would never risk hurting him again. He might not seem so but he is just as fragile
Tony walked into my room. Without a word, he lifted me and placed me into the wheelchair.
I adjusted myself as he wheeled me out of the hospital.
Soon, we reached his car. After helping me into the seat and folding the wheelchair, he drove off.
We arrived at the amusement park—
I smiled.
The place was so vibrant. So many fun games, so many children.
I enjoyed every moment there.
The kids decorated my hair with flowers, saying I looked like Snow White.
Tony fed me and the kids ice cream while they filled my wheelchair with balloons. They even pushed me slowly, singing cheerful songs.
I was so happy.
Eventually, Tony pushed me by himself, quietly this time.
"I'm sorry," I said, without looking at him.
"Did you know you'd marry Ryan? Was that why you ignored me for years?" he asked softly.
I nodded gently.
"Then why did you date me?" he whispered.
"Because I loved you. I wanted to be with you, even if only for a short while," I said, knowing he was wiping away tears.
"If I wait... would you come back? I don't care how long it takes," he whispered, his voice breaking.
I tilted my head upward to keep my own tears from falling.
"Tony—"
"I'm sorry," he said quickly, cutting me off. "I was just joking. I completely understand now, Anna. I've moved on. And I wish you and Ryan all the happiness in the world."
His voice was laced with so much pain that it broke me.
I wiped my tears and forced a smile, nodding at him.
We spent the rest of the day having fun at the park.
