"And that's a wrap!"
Cast and crew cheer as soon as the cameras stop rolling and onset lights go off.
Today is the last day of filming for the series, Inintéressant, and you can honestly say that the past two years of shooting have been some of the best for you, for both your life and your career.
If even possible, your popularity within the entertainment industry spiked even more significantly, propelling you towards a new level of fame you never even imagined.
Inintéressant captured the hearts of millions, and you, as its lead, suddenly became the highest paid actress in Hollywood. You have countless new projects lined up; studios and directors are fighting to have you in their movies; you've won endless awards, even more nominations. The whole world knows your name.
But you could never forget about your co-star. Taylor, who was so convinced this wouldn't be her big break.
The people proved her wrong.
She's got people clamouring for her attention now, too. She told you once, when you were filming the first episode of the last season, that her inbox is flooded with scripts and offers.
You didn't need to hear her say that to know that she's becoming a sensation nearly bigger than you. Her name is being mentioned in the same breath as some of Hollywood's biggest stars.
And yet, amidst all the chaos and newfound fame, Taylor remains as grounded and humble as ever.
As you watch her from across the set, you see her chatting animatedly with Greta, her face lit up with excitement. It warms your heart to see her finally getting the recognition she deserves, even though you know you should be planning a scandal right now to cause her downfall.
You know, very acutely, that if you want to be the biggest, the best of all of them, you can't have competition. This is one of the most important lessons you've learned in all your years in the acting business. If you can't beat them, bring them down. Admittedly, you've done this once or twice, and you're not proud of it. And, even then, when you were all auditioning, you were already scanning all the actresses who were reading for the role Taylor had, already making mental notes of their weaknesses.
You could never bring yourself to do that to Taylor. Just at the mere thought, you get this awful, terrible feeling in the pit of your stomach.
Or maybe it's just the butterflies you get when you look at her.
Every actor has a secret - a secret that, if revealed, could bring the tragic ruination of reputations.
Yours is the fact that you are desperately in love with Taylor.
Why is this such a big secret?
Taylor has a boyfriend. And he's the biggest asshole you've ever met. He's manipulative, controlling, and has a reputation for tearing people down to boost his own ego. You've seen the way he treats Taylor, the way he belittles her accomplishments and tries to control her every move.
You've kept your feelings hidden, burying them deep beneath layers of professionalism and friendship. But every time you see Taylor with him, your heart aches with longing and frustration.
You know you should move on, find someone who can love you the way you deserve. But it's not that simple. Taylor has unconsciously woven herself so deeply into the fabric of your life, of your reality, that it feels impossible to untangle yourself from her.
