y'all, can I rant rq? skip ahead if you don't wanna listen to my nonexistent problem. okay, so basically, there's this girl. she's a year older than me and we've been talking for a really long time, and like we've basically been acting like a couple, like our nicknames are literally like special Idfk but she told me like a few days ago that she isn't ready for a relationship basically and like I'm so sad about it because I was gonna ask her to be my girlfriend but Ig that was wishful thinking. my cousin (basically one of my best friends) told me to move on already because I'll only end up hurt but Idk what to do because I don't wanna hurt her. sorry that was stupid um here's the imagine

Taylor is your sister in this one!!

"Y/N!"

You look up from your book to find Taylor standing at the threshold of your room, eyes wide and panicked.

"Get out of my room!" you yell, already angry despite not anything happening yet.

"Y/N, please, you gotta help me!"

You roll your eyes.

"Come on, Y/N, I accidentally let Austin play with Mom's stupid figurine and he broke it!"

"Taylor!" you exclaim, scoffing. "Are you fucking insane!? You know how much Mom loves that thing!"

Taylor's eyes are welling up with tears now, and she bites her lip, clearly distressed. "I know, I know! But if she finds out, she's going to kill me! Please, Y/N, you're the only one who can fix this."

You let out an exasperated sigh, putting your book down and standing up. "Alright, where is it?"

Taylor quickly leads you to the living room, where the shattered remains of the figurine lie scattered across the floor. You kneel down, inspecting the damage. "This is bad, Taylor. Really bad."

"Do you think you can fix it?" Taylor asks, her voice trembling.

You glance up at her, taking in her pleading expression. "I'll try, but it's not going to be easy. Go get me the glue from Dad's toolbox and hurry."

Taylor nods and rushes off, leaving you alone with the broken pieces. You carefully start gathering them, mentally mapping out how they fit together. A few minutes later, Taylor returns with the glue, handing it to you with shaky hands.

"Maybe, just maybe, I can glue it back together."

Taylor's face lights up with hope. "You think so?"

"Don't get your hopes up too high," you warn. "This is going to take a lot of patience and a steady hand."

You spend the next hour meticulously piecing the figurine back together, bit by bit. Taylor hovers nearby, watching anxiously and occasionally passing you a fragment.

"There," you finally say, leaning back and stretching your cramped fingers. "It's not perfect, but it's the best I can do."

Taylor throws her arms around you, squeezing you tight. "Thank you, Y/N! You're the best sister ever!"

You can't help but smile a little at her gratitude, despite the frustration still simmering inside you. "Just promise me you'll keep Austin away from Mom's stuff from now on."

"I will, I swear," Taylor says earnestly. "Thank you again."

As Taylor carefully places the repaired figurine back in its spot, you can't shake the feeling that this won't be the last time you'll have to come to her rescue. But for now, the crisis is averted, and you can return to your book.
