"So," Taylor says into the microphone as she slings her guitar strap over her shoulder. "Um, Y/N and I, as you know, had little Izzy last year."
The stadium erupts with cheers, and you laugh softly, knowing what's coming.
You adjust Izzy's ear plugs slightly, seeing that they're loose. She smiles up at you with her big blue eyes sparkling.
Taylor waits for the noise to settle before continuing. "Well," she says, drawing out the suspense, "we've got some exciting news to share with you all tonight."
The crowd roars again, and you feel Izzy's small hand squeeze yours in excitement. Taylor grins, glancing at you with a twinkle in her eye. "Y/N and I are having another baby!"
The stadium explodes with noise - cheers, gasps, and a few shouts of disbelief. You can't help but chuckle, knowing the twist that's coming. Taylor holds up a hand, waiting for the audience to calm down.
"A couple of days ago, I might have mentioned something on social media," Taylor continues with a mischievous smile. "And, well, some of you might have freaked out a little bit."
Laughter ripples through the crowd. Taylor looks directly into the camera, a playful glint in her eye. "So, without further ado, let me introduce you to our new baby . . . Squish!"
The giant screen behind her lights up with a picture of an adorably fluffy kitten with big, curious eyes. The crowd erupts in laughter and applause as the image of Squish, curled up in a cozy cat bed, fills the screen.
You laugh, feeling the buzz of excitement and amusement in the air. Taylor looks back at you and Izzy, giving a little wave. "Isn't she the cutest?" she asks, and the crowd cheers in agreement.
Taylor turns back to the microphone, grinning widely. "Thank you for being such amazing fans and for sharing in our joy. Now, let's get back to the music!" The audience roars in approval as Taylor strums the opening chords of the next song, the energy in the stadium electric.
You adjust Izzy's ear plugs one last time, making sure she's comfortable, and then you all settle in to enjoy the rest of the show.
