this concept and plot will be on all my other imagines books!

Taylor is fast asleep in your bedroom — she had come over yesterday for a night in, and a rainstorm ended up making it dangerous for her to go home, even in a car, so she stayed with you.

It was no inconvenience, really, and it was perfect timing because there was a prank you wanted to pull on her.

So, with a mischievous grin, you quickly mess up your hair and ruffle your clothes to look as if you've just woken up in a hurry. You rush over to the bed and gently shake Taylor's shoulder. "Taylor, wake up! My girlfriend is here!"

Taylor groans, her eyelids fluttering open as she squints at you, her brain clearly struggling to process your words through the fog of sleep. "Huh? What are you talking about?"

"My girlfriend is here! You have to hide, quick!" You maintain your urgency, pulling her out of bed.

Still groggy and confused, Taylor stumbles after you, her mind too sluggish to argue or ask questions. You open the closet door and practically shove her inside, closing it gently but quickly. You hear her mumble something incoherent, probably trying to piece together what's happening, but you stifle a laugh and step away from the closet.

You take a moment to compose yourself, putting on an anxious expression, and then walk out of the room, leaving the door slightly ajar. You wait just outside, listening intently.

After a few moments, you hear a soft thud from inside the closet, followed by Taylor's sleepy voice, "Wait a minute . . . I'm your girlfriend."

You can't hold it in any longer and burst out laughing, opening the closet door to find Taylor sitting on the floor, looking bewildered but slowly piecing together the prank. She gives you a half-hearted glare, still too tired to be genuinely annoyed, and you pull her to her feet, grinning from ear to ear.

"Gotcha," you say, pulling her into a hug.

She huffs but returns the embrace, muttering, "You're lucky I'm too tired to smack you right now."

You both laugh, and Taylor leans into you.

"You scared me," she whispers, pouting.

"I couldn't resist," you chuckle, wrapping your arms around her. "You looked so funny trying to figure out what was going on."

Taylor sighs dramatically, leaning her head against your shoulder. "Well, you got me good. But seriously, I'm your girlfriend, you know."

You nod, still grinning. "Of course, and I'm glad you stayed over. Even if it means enduring my pranks."

She rolls her eyes playfully. "Just wait until I come up with something even better."

You chuckle softly, enjoying the moment of playful banter with her. "I'll be ready for it," you tease back.

Taylor leans up to give you a gentle kiss on the cheek, her lips curling into a smile. "I'm glad I stayed, too."

You squeeze her tighter, grateful for these quiet, silly moments together. The rain continues to patter softly against the windows, creating a soothing backdrop to your laughter and affection.
