A WEEK LATER

As I said before, due to the lack of leads, I couldn't really do much in regards of the case, but one thing was straight, they struck again.

It was two days ago, another five victims, and it wasn't even at stupid times at night, merely midday.

Best believe, when Yongpil called me at 1pm to tell me there's been another strike, my eyes almost fell out of their sockets.

Were these guys never ever busy?

I had inspected all five for a change, and oddly enough, none of them had the initials I had seen on that man. It was all very confusing, and aggravating at some points, because I had no idea whether these people were even innocent or just victims of rival gangs at this point.

"Hikari? You busy?" Jaewook peered his head into my office, and I gave him a light smile.

"No, why, what's up?" I looked up at him, hopeful that he managed to dig out some evidence at least.

"So, listen, about the club thing. Yes, it does exist, just not online." He began, sitting down on the chair before my desk, "It's sort of like, a secret members society. Exclusive only, so even if we tried getting you in - it'd be risky and I doubt it'd even work."

I leant my head back, damn, that kind of ruined my chances of getting anywhere with this.

"Where exactly is it?" I inquired, maybe I could just camp outside the place and wait for conveniently seven men to approach the place.

Jaewook kissed his teeth, shaking his head with a light sigh.

"There's multiple addresses linked to the place, I tried tracing them down, but they all lead to absolutely nowhere. It exists, just somewhere in Korea." Jaewook's words made me feel even heavier inside.

Damn, these people were good at hiding their little secrets.

"Alright, it's fine, thank you for your help." I tried my best to give him a sincere smile, but the disappointment of another brick wall made me feel utterly annoyed.

He nodded, giving another sigh and staring at me worriedly.

"Be safe Hikari, you're our only hope in this world." Jaewook quietly said, heading out straight after.

Damn right I'm the only hope in this world, and I'm going to make sure that people don't fear stepping outside their house whether it takes my life or not.

-

After a long day of working in the office, I made my way home, still in a state of thought about this clan and how I was supposed to even get any further in this case, despite the lack of leads.

With annoyance, I decided that I'd treat myself with a day out, I had enough with all this work stuff right now, and just needed some time for myself.

So, what better to do but go to a club without intentions of catching someone out?

I prepared myself quite quickly, I don't think I remember the last time I went to a club for my own pleasure, and not just to solve a crime.

But despite that, I still had paranoia, especially after all the things I've seen, and witnessed in my lifetime being an agent, I couldn't go underprepared.

So, again, under my outfit, I strapped a gun to my thigh, if anybody tries any bullshit with me, I will not hesitate to paralyse them.

Staring at myself in the mirror, I was ready to go. I made sure to let Yongpil know, that he better not call me and tell me to help him with a case, unless it was regarding the Sim Case.

With that, I head my way to a club in the city. It was a popular choice for many, and I heard too many good reviews about it, so I simply thought, why not?

I head inside, and immediately, eyes leered at me, staring at me as if they had never seen a female before. Even the girls were staring, looking me up and down.

I suppose being an agent gives you a good physique, I don't really know what to say. I felt like a star in this place.

I wandered around, sure, I was usually upright and bold, but being alone in a club was sort of intimidating, if I came with friends, I probably would've been climbing on walls and guys by now.

But alone? I looked like a little idiot who stumbled into the club by accident.

So, the safest option for me was to just sit at the bar and occasionally sip on my drink til I feel tipsy enough to do something dumb.
