After a while, the time neared to a close. But the conversation between the guys were becoming heavily targeted towards my agent self instead.

"Can't believe they got our other warehouse, how the fuck did that happen?" Jay ran his fingers through his hair, exasperated as Jake calmly, took a sip of his drink.

"They've got a really good agent on the team, just one out of all of them. If we're to act, we should find him first." Sunghoon suggested, and I just took a sip of my drink, acting as if I had no idea what was going on.

It'll be funny when they realise that this 'he' they're talking about, is actually a 'she' and she's sat right beside your boss.

I have no idea why everyone always assumed the agent is a guy, you never know, she might just be a girl.

"Least we still have the warehouse in Goyang." Sunoo joined into the conversation, Jake stayed silent, and I, even silenter.

I only took sips of my drink, scrolling on my phone as if I didn't care. But as Sunoo spoke, I typed down the city into my phone, pretending as if I'm texting someone.

"Ah, this agent of theirs. I wonder where they are." Jake kissed his teeth, leaning his head back and thinking deeply.

Well, if you just look to your left.

"Do we know anything about him?" Jay asked, and I checked the time on my phone.

Holy shit, please tell me we can go soon, I think I may actually disappear into thin air as they talk about me.

"Named Agent 003, very skilled, dare I say. They've been in many of the largest drug cases, gang cases." Jake explained, revealing little and insignificant information.

I suppose it boost my ego a little more.

"And what, we know nothing about them?" Sunoo gave another groan as Jake shook his head slowly.

"Sunoo, if I would've known something about them, I would've had them with me right now." Jake let out a small chuckle, well - this is a little embarrassing - isn't it.

Jake turned his head to look at me, his gaze burning through my skull. I really thought it was game over for me in this moment, thinking that he actually knows who I am all along.

But no, he stood up, holding his hand out for me to grab it. I took it swiftly, standing up beside him. I just prayed that we were leaving right now.

"Well, going to take her home, we will proceed with this business later." Jake concluded their little gathering, hastily making the first exit with me.

As we made our way down the stairs, eyes gawping on us like none before, I decided to inquire a little more into his life.

"So, then what are you really - because I'm finding it difficult to believe that you're a businessman." I gave a low chuckle as we made it outside.

It was dark outside, and barely anything could be seen.

He stopped, his hand still in mine. We shared a brief moment of eye contact, his eyes trailing all over my face with little to no shame.

"Pretty women deserve to be protected from disturbing things." Jake replied in a low tone, it was almost a whisper, "Don't ask questions you don't want to know."

I bit my inner lip, a smile raising on my face as he turned away from me, continuing walking and guiding me back to his car.

"You really do think I'm some sensitive little princess, don't you?" I raised a brow as he opened the wing of his door so I could sit in.

I sat down, and just before he closed it, he spoke. His sharp gaze returning once more, but then that hellish smirk too.

"You may think you won't be phased by murder, but it's very different from when you experience an environment surrounded by conflict. I wouldn't want you to see those sights, my little princess." Jake's words had this sharpness tained to the end of them, and along with that devilish smile at the end as he mentioned my previous words.

Ugh, why does this guy have to be the one I must kill?

He shut the door, heading to the driver's side, and sitting inside. Without a word more, he sped off, into the darkness of the roads - where I'm assuming he and only a few others knew the way back home.

-

Upon reaching my house, I found myself sat carrying a little disappointment, already? We were finished? Damn.

Jake turned his head to look at me as he parked directly outside of my place.

"So what, is that it?" I asked him, I wanted more from him - not only because I enjoyed his company, but also so that I could get more information on how to shut down his clan.

I had to remind myself on numerous occasions that I was technically doing this to end the brutal murder sprees, and not because the guy was fine as hell.

A smirk traced Jake's lips, he faced the front for a small second before turning back to look at me.

"I'll see you later." Was all he replied with, and that reply, was all I needed as confirmation.

This was definitely not the last time we'll meet. And he said it himself.

I gave a gentle smile, stepping out of his car and heading to my house, in a quite hurried manner. The second I opened my door, and closed it behind me, I gave the largest exhale, grabbing my phone from my purse and dialing for Jaewook immediately.

He picked up decently quick.

"Jaewook, find me a list of abandoned warehouses in Goyang." I asked him, and he said no more, getting straight on it.
