A FEW WEEKS LATER

With Jake being still unconscious for longer than I anticipated, we all eventually, managed to cope with this.

I visited him often, too often maybe even, but regardless, I didn't really care, I never knew when his last moment may be.

The clan was quiet too, they didn't strike at anyone, attack anyone, nobody tried coming for us or anything. It was just a passing of time nowadays.

Ever since Siwoo died, the Federal Bureau of which I used to work at, never came back to try and dig for more information on Jake's clan. Like I said, it's just been a whole lot of nothing recently.

I walked into the place after a day out, and my jaw dropped. Why the fuck was the house covered in flour?

Out of nowhere, Niki, holding a bag of flour ran out of a room, with Heeseung chasing him with a spatula.

I could not even describe the sight I was seeing.

These are the guys who are part of the strongest mafia alliance?

Playing with flour and chasing each other with kitchen utensils?

I didn't even know if I should step in the kitchen, fearing that it may be covered in dough or whatever.

But regardless, I did so, and it was also covered in flour, as expected, Sunghoon and Sunoo were doing something on the stove, Jungwon mixing some questionable substance.

"What the hell is going on in here?" I was still a bit bewildered at the sight of the entire house, the poor housekeepers would be in for hell tomorrow.

"See, we were trying to make a nice meal, like a big one, but like.. I don't exactly know what happened." Sunghoon turned around and held his hand on the nape of his neck.

I blankly blinked, still hearing Niki's screaming in the distance and Heeseung's yelling.

".. Alright.. and where is Jay?" I wondered where the main chef was, this is probably why the house looked like it did.

"Oh shit. Jay." The colour disappeared from Sunoo's face, and Jungwon dropped the whisk in his grip.

I looked at them all, as if they had seen a ghost, I was beyond confused.

"He's going to kill us all when he sees what we've done." Jungwon looked around the kitchen, grimacing.

"Oh shit, Jay's gonna turn us into omelettes." Sunghoon gave a laugh as the others did so too.

Honestly, in this moment, I couldn't do anything but laugh as well. Niki and Heeseung came back into the kitchen, out of breath and sweating.

"Yeah guys, so where is Jay exactly? And how far is he from the house?" Jungwon asked the two guys that just came in, and they had the exact same expression written on their faces as the rest of the guys.

"Fuck, I forgot that he's not here." Heeseung rest his hands on his face, the entire group was thinking of what to do in this moment.

Nobody knew what to do right now, since nobody knew where Jay was and how long it'd be until he'd come back.

"So nobody is going to call him? We're all just going to stand here?!" I added my input in, the guys were doing nothing but looking equally as shocked as each other.

"Guys how fast can we actually work, let's calculate this." The whole group was covered in flour, the floors were in flour, furniture in flour.

Literally how on earth did this happen? How much flour did they have? What the hell were they making with this much flour?

I was still in pure shock - impressed shock though - it was a rather comical sight to come home to.

"So there's five of us right, six including Hikari, that means, we're fucked either way." Sunghoon came quick to his conclusion, and the group just laughed, knowing they were fucked anyways even if they attempted to clean up as fast as possible.

I shook my head lightly, with a smile on my face.

"You guys are immature as hell." I chuckled, and out of nowhere, Sunoo tipped some flour into his hands from the counter, and threw it at me.

I widened my mouth at his actions, and as a retaliation, grabbed a mountain of flour and chased him around until I managed to throw it at him.

Aaand, now I see how this happened.

Half an hour later, the boys did absolutely nothing, except laugh and joke around, and raid the cupboards for snacks. They didn't even attempt to clean up the place, it was still coated in flour.

"Maybe Jay spontaneously went on a long holiday without telling us, so, look guys, we're fine." Niki gave the cheekiest grin ever as everyone nodded, agreeing with him.

"For sure, he likes to be mysterious." Heeseung chimed in, and exactly fitting in the moment, the sound of the front door opening was heard, echoing through the kitchen.

All of the guys had the same expression on their face, frozen and unsure of what to even do.
