FEW DAYS LATER

The day had come, it was daunting in it's approach, and honestly, I was terrified. If I thought any other mission was scary, clearly I wasn't thinking right.

I was in my uniform again, it was heavier than usual, they took extra precaution to make sure whatever happens, I don't die.

Well, I'm sure that I won't anyways.

The van approached to the address, it was a random road, two lanes, either you're going forward, or backwards. There were no signs, and the rest of the place was surrounded by tall, musky pines.

"Hikari, stay safe. And if you end up having to stay with them for longer, if you can, please let us know." Yongpil seemed as if he was about to cry, and I fully understood why.

I gave him a quick hug, he pat me on the back as I hopped out onto the side of the road, the van driving off, leaving me here.

It must've looked odd, a random, anonymous agent just stood to the side of the road, in front of a speed sign. I'm sure if anyone - at all - passes by, they'll think I'm insane.

I checked whether my gun was loaded, it was, and pulling a blade from the blade bandolier strapped around me.

It was sharpened, and ready for use, just in case.

A few minutes later, a black van pulled up to the side, fully blacked out windows, like, to the point where nothing could be seen.

The door slid open, and it revealed a masked up man.

"Agent 003?" He asked, and I nodded, not saying a word just yet. I stepped inside, sitting down and waiting as the drive commenced.

I could shoot him, and the driver, and run off - but what good would that exactly do? There would've been no point in coming.

I gave an inaudible sigh to myself, I bet Jaewook was terrified.

I wasn't sure how they were going to prove that I am Agent 003, and not just some random idiot that was sent here as a replacement, but I knew they had something up their sleeve as confirmation.

Not long later, the van opened, and I was brought into an underground lair. I stepped out of the car, following the guy inside. The van moved up, presumably to the first floor.

I looked around, damn, who the hell has the time to create this whole ass underground building or whatever here?

People are just so bored.

I almost let out laughter from my own thoughts, but then upon realising the atmosphere, I thought it'd be best to keep quiet.

He brought me to a door, and took my main gun off me, little did he know, I had a pistol dug somewhere in my equipment.

He opened the door, and let me in, then shut it right after me, leaving just me - in this dim room, alone.

It was big, from what I could see, a few crates then and there, but very echoey and strange.

Out of nowhere, men swarmed up to me, attacking me and attempting to take me down. From pure instinct, I swung a few kicks, sliding my blade out of my bandolier and beginning to slash the guys that I couldn't tackle down with my limbs.

I ran behind a sum of crates, digging for my pistol and reloading, the audible patter of footsteps gave me knowledge as to where they were coming from.

There were too many of them, but would Agent 003 ever give up? Hell no.

With my urge to live, I fought against them, slamming them against walls, throwing them into stacked piles of crates, slashing them, and on the occasion shooting them.

They seemed to multiply, but with every might, I urged on, spin kicking into a guy's face, grabbing him by the collar and throwing him forcefully into his friends, the three flew aback, and I stood on them, three shots, to three of them.

I was breathless, still alert and making sure that there were no other guys that hid from me.

But obviously, they always had to try and attack me from the back. The man had a knife, and tried slicing through my uniform, but unlucky for him, it didn't work out. Instead, I grabbed his arms that were around my neck, and flipped him forward, his back cracked as he smacked the hard floor.

I spun around, aiming my gun, just in case there were anymore assholes that were trying to get me spontaneously.

But, it was silent.

And out of nowhere, the lights brightened, showing the amassed amount of bodies that were on the floor, dead, in fallen piles of crates.

Damn, did I really take out all of these guys singlehandedly? Holy shit Hikari, go you.

Faint clapping was heard from behind me, along with the bold, clicking of shoes. I spun around, and I think my heart almost gave out, seeing that man, heading closer, and closer towards me.

Sim Jaeyun, you really had to be the man I had to hunt down, huh?
