A DAY LATER

On my break, I decided to invite one of my friends to the club where I met Jake, I don't know, maybe he'd appear randomly and hook my girl up with one of his homies, then that'd be greater for my mission goal.

We head past the bar at first, wanting to enjoy the alluring atmosphere of the club music and the people, but eventually, it got boring and we both decided that it'd be better to just head to the bar for a few drinks.

Before we did so, we head upstairs, towards the bathroom. There were two bathrooms, one downstairs, one upstairs, but the ones downstairs had huge queues, and very little people knew that there were bathrooms on the second storey, so we made our way upstairs.

I waited outside of the women's restroom, looming over the glass banister, just looking from above at all the people dancing on the dancefloor and yelling.

Damn, where the hell was Jake in this sea of people.

But conveniently as that thought struck my mind, a particularly familiar voice came from afar, down the corridors and a turn away.

I slowly trekked away from the outside of the restroom, following the corridor and the sound of the aggravated voice.

I turned a corner, and it became closer and closer, til I required to turn another corner.

I peered my head over, my head almost falling off my neck at the sight of Jake, his back facing my direction. He was talking to someone on the phone, and was pissed to the fullest.

"What the fuck do you mean our ammunition warehouse got raided? Do you want to fucking die?" Jake wasn't playing when he was saying this, I could honestly feel the anger through his veins.

I gave a decently sized smirk to myself, knowing this was the work of mine.

"Jesus fucking christ, find me the fucking agent. I need the name, identity, everything. Now." Jake demanded, and I had to hold in my chuckle, because I knew something he didn't.

He rubbed his hand with his face, frustrated and giving out light groans.

"How the hell is this happening? We're located in the most desolate places, there's no fucking way unless someone from our team is talking." Jake continued yelling through the phone, and I realised that I couldn't quite eavesdrop completely, and that Seoyeon was probably wondering where the hell I disappeared off to.

So with that in mind, I took off, heading back to the restrooms where she was actually waiting for me.

"Where'd you go?" She gave me a light smile as the two of us walked back downstairs, heading towards the bar.

"Ah, just a wander, I was wondering what lead down there." I lied to her, shrugging as we both sat on the bar stools.

I couldn't help but chuckle to myself now, damn, he was furious to the moon and back, and the girl he was looking for, was right beneath him.

We were slowly drinking, just enjoying the moment, and Jake had disappeared from my mind for a while, up until he approached me, his face showing evident dissatisfaction.

Seoyeon turned her head to look at him, her jaw dropping, eyes widening, and I just stared at him, wondering what brought him to me once again.

"I'm borrowing your friend for a moment." Jake didn't even ask, not at all, he simply just demanded, and I looked over to Seoyeon who shrugged, a little fearful from his absolutely dominating presence.

I stood up from my stool, heading upstairs with him, and he took me into a small little room, with a booth, drinks and other stuff.

I leant on the wall, wondering what he could possibly want from me.

He turned around, pouring himself a drink and taking a sip, he asked if I wanted some through his gaze alone - and I shook my head.

"What's with the spontaneous summoning?" I rolled my eyes, sometimes this assertive and demanding personality of his was annoying.

"I just wish to talk to you about something. Surely you know the guy I am, right?" Jake approached me slowly, swirling his glass of liquor around as his eyes stuck to mine.

"As in? The fact that you killed someone? Okay? And?" I scoffed, pretending as if I had no idea who he was.

He seemed to ease a little, but still continually approached me, until his face was just millimetres away from mine.

He brought his lips to my ear, whispering in such a seductive tone.

"I kill people for a living, baby." He used that nickname again, and my lips, against my own will just smiled, looking at him as he stared at me once more.

He was clearly surprised to see that I wasn't shooken up or terrified of him, I simply put one of my hands onto his shoulders, massaging it gently.

"Congratulations, but I wouldn't open my mouth to anyone about you, so don't be so tense." I rubbed his shoulder lightly, and his expression was of the most interested in me, he had never looked at me so intrigued as he did now.

"Damn." He wouldn't take his eyes off mine, and as I looked at his lips, then back to his face, he spoke for the both of us, smashing his lips against mine with little to no regret.
