THE NEXT DAY

I thought so. I called it myself, right before I even released them.

They were dead.

Though it was odd, despite Jake's killings usually being in multiples of five, this time, he only killed the two guys who were supposed to get me.

They had called me to the crime scene as soon as the bodies were found, and all I could do was give a pitiful chuckle, before walking off and heading back towards my workplace.

I was walking on thin ice, I had a few doubts that Jake believed my little nurse persona - but who knows - maybe he thinks I did karate or something when I was younger.

But either way, I was running out of time before he finds out that I'm really the agent he's looking for.

So, today, we acted upon the Kwon Juhyeong mission. We were going to get this man, and I was going to ensure that Jake saw this.

They prepared me all in my agent gear, covered from head to toe, armed and reinforced, and as I was ready to go, Jaewook stepped out of his office.

He observed my outfit, I guarantee you that he likes when I'm wearing this, you can just see it on his face.

"Hikari, I had my doubts about you doing this case at first, but thank you. Good luck." He pat my shoulder lightly, a smile on his face as I nodded, following after the federal officers.

We had a van with multiple screens that were on the inside of the club, just waiting for that certain man to pull up.

There were only a handful of us situated inside, including my boss, Yongpil. He was especially proud of me, cracking down this case more than anybody ever has.

I waited, a little bored, it'll take a bit of time before he leaves the club, but it'll be worth it in the end.

AN HOUR LATER

Over an hour had passed, and finally, the camera detected him leaving the club, in a very tipsy state. We had a decoy taxi waiting, outside of the club, conveniently so that he'd go in and think he'd head home, but little did he know.

He head into the taxi, driving off with little worries in his mind at all.

If all these guys working for the mafia were like this, it really confuses me as to how Jake has still not been caught - because how the hell?

The van immediately followed behind, Juhyeong was drunk, there was no way that he would notice a van following him, and as for the destination of the taxi?

It was on it's way to a completely ransacked trap house. No better place to scare someone than a trap house.

It was a quick ride, and Juhyeong must've caught on by now. The van stopped as soon as the taxi stopped, and I head out immediately, Yongpil patting me on the back for good luck.

I grabbed the guy from the taxi, he was drunk as hell, but trying to sober himself up as he realised something bad was going down.

I dragged him remorselessly into the trap house, the windows were broken, scattered glass and broken furniture were inside. It was a horrible place to be in, but despite that, this place was ideal for threatening.

I grabbed a wooden chair, that kind of was missing parts of the back, and threw him onto the chair. I unbuckled a strap from my uniform, tying his hands around a pillar in the house.

His eyes were shot alert, as he just stared upon me, looking down at him. It must've been a scary sight for him, a person fully decked out in black uniform, a gun strapped, balaclava covering my face, and my eyes covered.

"Wha.. what do you want from me??!" He panicked, sweat already running down his forehead.

"Oh Kwon Juhyeong, aren't you a busy man?" I spoke, and he sharply inhaled, a vein pulsing from his forehead.

"Are.. are you.. agent.." He failed to utter my full name out of solemn fear.

"Agent 003, indeed I am. I hear that I'm rather popular in your workplace." I chuckled to myself, walking around his chair, slowly, and ominously.

He frantically tried looking behind him as I walked out of his field of view - that's just how scared he was.

"Oh fuck, oh my god. Spare me, spare me I plead." He tried to rip himself apart from the chair, frantically moving his body about to try and get out.

I launched a shot into the air, to get him to stop rattling.

"Your boss, Sim Jaeyun, correct?" I raised a brow as he nodded quickly, so many nods that honestly, I didn't need any more confirmation from him for the rest of my life

"Yes, yes he is, I don't want to die. I have a wife, two kids, one daughter one son, Agent 003, I'll turn myself in, please." He begged with his life, trying to convince me.

I let out a scoff, shaking my head. It's funny how all his men immediately crumbled.

His phone suddenly pinged.
