Joshua POV:
I can feel that he is closer. "He will be coming for all of us. Expect no mercy. He's coming to slaughter us." I told everyone who had come. Despite my painful reminders some had decided against returning home. They will be punished after I deal with Malachai. I despise the fact that he is of me.
Olivia POV:
Lucas and I knew that if Kai came we wouldn't be strong enough to stop him. We both agreed that if he came we wouldn't fight him. Lucas decided that we should hide ourselves when he comes, like Jo did for us when he tried it the first time. The only thing we hoped for was that our death would be fast.
Hope POV:
Kai and I took turns driving, while I knew that the Gemini Coven resided in Oregon, I wasn't sure on exact location. When we would stop to switch turns driving we would find some fun spots to feed, knowing that Kai will always be a little crazy like my Uncle Kol.
We had been stopped by a pack of werewolves. While they are my people, some of them don't know when to pick their targets. I had decided with Kai that these were too dumb to live. Threatening an Original and her friend is never a good idea. We knew that there would be more if we weren't quick with killing them.
I pulled out two long swords from my bag. Waving my hand over each of our clothes, protecting them from the bloody mess that will shortly ensue. "Let's have some fun, what do you say?" I ask as we step out of the car. "This will almost be as much fun as killing my Dad." He said loud enough for them to hear. Some of the wolves looked at each other hearing Kai's words.
The wolves pulled out their own weapons, getting ready to face off with the two of us. "GO!" Kai said and we took off, chopping up the wolves. Leaving a butcher shop level catastrophe on the side of the road. We put our swords in the trunk, continuing our journey.
Finn POV:
My world couldn't be better, I have my sister, I have Sage and I'm free from Niklaus. Even if we left on good terms, he left me in a box for nine hundred years. Can't just wash away nine hundred years of pain away. Some nights I wake up, gasping awake feeling like I'm still trapped in my coffin.
Sage and I had been walking the streets of New Orleans. Freya had pointed out who Marcel was, letting us know not to be obvious around him. We had been out having drinks together, I had gone to the bar to get more drinks when I heard Sage struggle. I dropped the drinks and sprinted to find her.
She had been fighting off six vampires, "GET OFF OF HER!" I shouted, bearing my fangs rushing at the vampires. Sage and I made quick work of ripping out their hearts. I took off one of their shirts, putting all the hearts in the shirt. We walked into the Compound where Marcel was staying.
"WHERE IS THE ONE THEY CALL MARCEL GERARD?!" I demanded loudly. I handed the shirt to Sage, who held it carefully. Marcel rushed in front of me, "Who do you think you are, demanding my attention?" Marcel asked getting closer. I picked him up by his neck, "Consider this a warning, anyone who comes for either of us or any of our friends will meet the same fate or much worse." I said for everyone to hear.
I then threw Marcel through an upstairs door. Sage dumped the hearts in the center of the floor and we walked out. "Nobody threatens my family and lives. No one." I said taking Sage's hand. One of his henchmen rushed to block our path, this time Sage took center stage.
She grabbed onto his heart with such finesse, I had not seen anything similar. "You feel that, when I squeeze you start desiccating. I could crush this inside your chest, I don't even need to remove it to kill you. Stand against us again and I'll pull you apart, limb from limb." She said snapping his neck and dropping him.
Hope POV:
We had arrived outside his home, we couldn't see it but it was there. There were cars parked nearby, I used my magic to turn one on, forcing it to drive forward. Once it crashed the house came into view. We could hear the screams, "Let me get Olivia and Lucas out." I told him, he stayed where he was, agreeing with my plan.
I rushed through the house, invisible to the Gemini Coven. I could hear the twins chanting quietly, much like myself they were invisible. I grabbed onto them, rushing them to our car. "Ad Sonum." I said waving my hand over each of them. "Was Jo in there?" Kai asked as we made our way to the house. "No, she would be no use to them anyway." I answered.
Knowing that there were no kids in the house, Kai and I stormed the house, swords in hand. I let Kai lead, knowing how badly he needed it. I basically took a seat as I heard Kai rush about the house killing the remaining Gemini Coven. Thankfully the spell protecting our clothes was still in full effect. Kai came down chest heaving, exhausted yet exhilarated from knowing he was truly free.
We decided on abandoning the car, taking his siblings with us, running back home was faster than driving could ever be. He had Lucas, I carried Olivia. This time we only stopped twice, drinking from flasks instead of feeding on people. We made it home by early morning, dropping the siblings on the couch relatively gently. We had decided it would be best if it was just me to talk to them when they woke up.
Kai had made himself scarce, leaving me with his siblings. I woke them up, setting plates of food and cups of coffee in front of them. "Good morning Olivia, Lucas. I am Hope, I have some good news and I have some bad news. Which would you like to hear first?" I asked the pair.
They looked at each other and said, "Bad news first." I smirked at their twin nature. "Your Dad, Aunts and Uncles are dead. You are in no danger from Kai, I know how he treated all of you in the past. The good news is that you are free of your Dad and how he controlled you, you will also be free from the merge if you side with us." I told the pair. They looked both devastated and happy at the same time.
"How can we avoid the merge?" Olivia asked. "The only way to avoid the merge is to turn both of you. That way you both won't go through the sickness of not doing the merge." I told them, taking a sip of my own coffee. "We would lose our magic." Lucas said. "But we would both be relatively alive, we get to stay together." Olivia countered.
I let them decide on what they wanted. "What happened to Jo?" Lucas asked, finally remembering his older sister. "She's alive and well, magic free but alive." I told them. "Okay we will do it." They said together. "Love a dream team." I said, bleeding into a clean cup, passing it to them.
Once they had both drank, Kai silently approached from behind them and snapped their necks. I looked at him, giving him a stink eye. "What, now I can say I killed most of my family." Kai said smiling. I chuckled at his behavior. I pulled out two flasks from my backpack, knowing they probably wouldn't want to kill people ever.
After about six hours they each woke with a gasp, quickly finding their flasks. The siblings then groaned in pain as their fangs protruded. "The pain will pass in a second, keep drinking." I told them. I pulled out a daylight ring for both of them. Henrik came in, standing in front of Lucas, I stood in front of Olivia. We each compelled them to never betray the Mikaelson's; if they found a loophole we let them know that Kai will find them and execute them in his own way.
