Lizzie POV:

Seeing Hope so devastated and embarrassed was really difficult to bear. I removed the spell, she quickly took the vampire and dashed off. I waited a minute, trying to process what she told me. She has feelings for both of us, when has she been spending time with Josie. I got out of the car, heading toward the Compound. I couldn't find Hope, looks like she is running again.

I went up to Josie's room, finding Mom and Rebekah sitting with her. "We need to talk." Was all I said, the color drained from everyone's faces. "Lizzie, stay calm. What happened?" Mom asked. "Did you know that Hope has feelings for me?" I asked Josie, ignoring Mom's question. Josie looked hurt, "She has feelings for you? I thought we had something." She responded looking at the floor. "What have you been doing with her to give you that impression?" Rebekah asked. Josie blushed, looking uncomfortable by the question.

"I had been spending most of the day with her for several days this past week. She has been feeling amped up and has been having me siphon from her. It's hard to explain the feeling to someone who can't siphon. To equate it to something you have experienced, it would be like blood sharing, incredibly intimate." Josie answered. I nodded, knowing that feeling siphoning from Hope produces. There is absolutely nothing like it.

"I can understand that. Especially given our history with her. Each of us had a crush on her at different points in our lives, each of had ways of making her miserable." I said aloud. "We have all gone to hell and back for each other, she's everything to us." Josie said for the both of us. I nodded at her. "What makes either of you think that you are good enough for my daughter?" A terrifying voice asked.

"Nik, they were just girls. They love Hope. Right?" Rebekah said, getting between Niklaus and us. Mom joined in, putting her hand on his chest. "Kids make mistakes, Hope made it hard for them too, I've seen it. She went into a prison world, finding two of the people she missed most in her original time. She loves these girls." She told him. He calmed hearing her explanation, nodding his head and letting us pass. We heard him say that he will be having words with Rebekah later.

Hope POV:

I ran like a coward, finding my way to Rousseau's planning on drinking the place dry. I pulled a bottle from behind the bar, then reached into my backpack pulling out the Lebonair journal. Seeing my Mom's original name written in cursive with her birthday. I set the bottle aside, pulling out a map and a knife.

I cut my palm, bleeding over the map. I used the journal and my blood to point me to her. I need my Mom in my life. The blood pointed back to Whitmore College. She must be meeting Professor Shane. I ditched the bar, skipping on taking a car, running will be faster.

3 hours later

I stood outside of the college, it was late and the streets were empty. I pulled a map of Virginia out, pouring more blood on it. The blood was leading me to a motel nearby. I walked into the lobby, "Hey, my sister came through earlier. Tall, skinny, brunette, ringing any bells?" I asked the manager. He looked bored, sighing, "She's in 8B." He said before going back to watching TV.

I walked up the stairs to her room, holding the Lebonair journal in my hand. I took a deep breath, knocking on her door. As expected, she only opened the door enough to see past the deadbolt. "Who the hell are you? How did you find me?" She asked quietly. "You are Hayley Marshall? I have something that belongs to you. It's from the Bayou, just out of the French Quarter of Louisiana. You and I belong to the same pack." I told her, handing her the journal and showing her my birthmark.

She unbolted the door, yanking me in the room. "You still didn't answer my questions." She said looking through her family Journal for the first time. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you. I used the book to help me track you." I told her sitting against the desk. "Try me." She said sitting on her bed.
