Hope POV:

"So let me get this straight, you are telling me that you have feelings for both the twins. Yet you have continually run from them? Come on, Hope. These girls deserve an answer." Mom said while we sat in the car outside the Compound. "I stand by what I said Mom. I refuse to pick between them." I told her getting out of the car.

"At least talk to them, or hear them out." She said wrapping her arm around me. We walked into the Courtyard finding Caroline and Dad sitting together. "Ahem." Mom said, disrupting the make out that was happening. Dad did a double take standing up, as did Caroline. "Hayley." Dad said smiling. Caroline beat him to giving her a hug. "It's so good to see you!" She told her.

Rebekah, Davina and Freya entered the courtyard soon after. Mom turned around shocking the three she had grown rather close with. "HAYLEY!" Davina cheered, running up to greet her. Freya and Rebekah approached her much calmer, but equally excited to see her. Elijah and Kol walked in soon after, hearing Davina's happy cry.

"While you may be technically older than me right now, you and I need to talk." Caroline said, narrowing her eyes, giving me a Mom glare. I stood up straight, "Lead the way. We can show some of the members in the house what a private conversation means." I told her gesturing for her to go first. I walked with her to Dad's studio, "Rip the bandaid, let's do this." I said prepping to get yelled at.

I closed my eyes, expecting her usual loud shouting voice, but was met with a gentle embrace. What is it with Moms surprising me with hugs. "I'm sorry that my girls have made it hard on you. You have always held a special place in their hearts, even when they were wrongly mad at you. I understand why you refuse to choose between them, I'm not here to suggest you do. In this time line, I was your friend before I was their Mom. How do you feel about this?" She asked me.

"I love your girls, equally and unequivocally. I can't bear the thought of causing one them heartbreak. Landon did that with Josie, choosing me, which in all honesty was a mistake because he was pretty boring. I lost interest soon after, but never in Josie or Lizzie. I grieved for years, never expecting to see them again, trying to extinguish the love I held for them. Then to bring them back with me from a prison world, it's too much to handle. Josie and Lizzie are special to me in unique ways. Josie is warm and gentle, Lizzie is snarky and protective, each lovable in their own rights. How could I pick between them?" I asked her rhetorically.

"Do you feel better, getting that off your chest?" She asked. I nodded, "We should probably make it look like we had an argument, based off the way you started it." I told her chuckling. We both startled laughing, realizing how dramatic she was in getting us alone. "Do you know where the girls are?" I asked her. "They left hours ago looking for you." She responded. I pulled a map, bleeding over it, focusing on finding them. They were up the street in the Heretic House. I could feel that Henrik was trying to get through my cloaking spells. "I gotta go, cover for me?" I asked, before jumping from the window.

I rushed to stop Henrik, "Quit fucking with my spells, I'm here." I told him walking in through the back door. Josie and Lizzie shot to their feet, but stayed quiet, clearly not sure what to say. "We should talk." I said, pulling out bottles of rum for the girls. Lizzie rubbed her legs, nervously, "I'm not going to attack you and force answers this time." She told me, sitting back down. I laughed a little awkwardly, I took a big swig from the bottle, trying to calm my nerves.

"Josie as I'm sure you are aware by now, I have feelings for you. Lizzie has known that I've had feelings for her, spending time with each of you has been wonderful and complicated for me. I can't be the one to break either of your hearts. I refuse to choose one of you, over the other." I said my piece. Josie looked to Lizzie, each of them trying to decide who would go first. In the end Lizzie went first.

"We talked with Mom and Rebekah, and were later threatened by your Dad. Not our favorite moment with your Dad." She replied, I looked down. "He asked us why we thought we were good enough for you. We could only really come up with one answer, you are everything to us. Without intending to I think that we both developed feelings for you. Lizzie and I are also unwilling to make you choose." Josie said sitting forward.

I run my hands from my temples through my hair, "What does that mean for us?" I asked putting my forearms on my knees. Josie looked to Lizzie, each of them taking a deep breath before coming and sitting on each side of me. They both took one of my hands, "You want us." Lizzie said pulling up my left sleeve. "We want you, it's simple really." Josie said pulling my other sleeve up.

I can't help but blush, having them sit this close to me, even though I'm not quite sure what they are doing. "What are you doing?" I asked as I became increasingly nervous. "Not all forms of communication require talking." Josie said running her nails up the inside of my arm, holding eye contact. "Similar to how people in relationships refer to themselves as a 'thing' or that they are talking'." Lizzie said. Using her free hand, she gently grabbed my chin, making me look at her.

My eyes kept bouncing from her eyes to her smirking lips. "You know you guys are killing me with this...tension right?" I asked barely able to get it out. "Let's fix the problem shall we." Lizzie responded before smashing her lips to mine. Josie moved my hair, and started kissing my neck.

They both started siphoning, pulling my magic through their lips and hands. It was both erotic and euphoric. Lizzie pulled away, needing a break from the magic and to catch her breath.
I turned to Josie who claimed my lips with haste. I could feel how much she wanted this, at least matching half as much as I do.

After a little while Josie sat back, also having magic overload. I took a deep breath, running my hands up and down my thighs, trying to get a grip. "We are going to need ground rules. Boundaries we know not to cross with each other." I said, getting up and sitting across from them.

"We will have to split our time evenly, wok on avoiding jealousy inducing behaviors. We can spend time together as a group and then you two will have to decide what days to pick. If you two are angry at each other, you can't take it out on me for that." I said to them. "We can just switch every day, keep it simple. Josie and I are in a place where we can just talk things out without losing our shit." Lizzie responded.

"Yes, being stuck in the prison world, alone together made us realize we only had each other. That is until you came and rescued us." Josie said nudging my leg. "People are going to have a lot of opinions aren't they?" Lizzie asked. "You can count on it. They will also probably try to separate you from me. They will try to harm you, the necklaces will prevent permanent damage or death but it won't stop pain." I told them, being as honest as I can. "We want this." Josie said looking from Lizzie to me, both of them nodded.
