Joshua POV:

I could feel that the prison world we had made was empty. Kai is free from his prison, he will come for all of us. I sent out a signal to all my children, commanding them to come home. We will have to deal with this as a coven.

Hope POV:

Kai had told us that his father was calling his children to him. He knew he couldn't kill his siblings, but his father, aunts and uncles were up for grabs. We had been working on gradually giving him small doses of empathy, not too much. Just enough to give him reason when thinking of killing people.

We sped up our plans of traveling to the 1903 prison world, having the Gemini Coven coming is not the best for just us. I could slaughter them easily but Kai needs to have his vengeance. I took the Ascendant out of my bag, everyone took each other's hands, and I poured Bennett blood on it. It felt like being squeezed through the tightest tube in the world and then we were roughly spat out in the snow.

The Aurora Borealis was shining in full effect. "I know this is a natural occurrence, but it is still just so...beautiful." Henrik said, gazing upward. "Damon, Stefan, lead the way to your old mansion. There is someone living there that will be rather painful for you to come to terms with. I need you both to know that she can't escape from here, it will be dangerous for all of us." I warned them.

They nodded, confused but they knew I was doing what's best. Damon was a bit peeved that I didn't let Rose join us, but the more people involved the more magic I need. We had silently made our way to the Salvatore Estate. We let the brothers make their way in first, then followed in after. "Mother." Damon said in shock. "Mom." Stefan said quickly following.

"My boys, you have grown into such handsome young men. I take it that you are both vampires?" She asked, putting on an air of grace and warmth. "Yes we turned about ten to fifteen years after you abandoned us." Damon said heatedly. "Why did you leave us with him?" He then asked,

"I am a ripper when I turned I had almost no self control, I was so tempted to feed from you both. I thought you would be safer if I left." She responded looking down. "You thought it was better to leave us with the man who beat Damon and you at the table, the man who shamed us for petty squabbles? How dimwitted can you possibly be?" Stefan asked taking a step forward.

"It was better for you to grow up than to die by my hands." She responded resolutely. "Had you the choice to go back and be with your sons, all of you as vampires... would you take it or would you stick with your heretic family?" I asked, emerging from the shadows. "You know of them?" She asked. "We know all about your heretic children." I answered.

"Now tell us, given the opportunity who would you choose?" I demanded. "I'd choose my heretic family." She answered not looking at anyone. I knocked Stefan out. "What if you knew that Julian caused Valerie to miscarry your grandchild? Valerie was carrying Stefan's baby." I told her. "I would have stayed with Stefan and Valerie, leaving the rest of them behind if they wouldn't come with me." She responded.

Dad and Kol led us to the tunnels, it was so dark we could barely see our hands in front of our faces. I produced a ball of light, leading us deeper. We finally came across the six heretics, Oscar, Valerie, Nora, Mary Louise, Beau, and Malcolm. "Greetings Heretics, some of us are Mikaelson's, others are not. We are here to free you. We have rules and they will be followed. The first being that we are not bringing Julian back. The rest can be discussed when we are home." I told them.

Dahlia lifted Beau and Malcolm with magic, Kol took Mary Louise and Nora. Dad took Oscar and I took Valerie. Kai took Valerie from me while I rushed back to the house. Lily carried Stefan, I hadn't woken him up yet.

I rushed back to our group, everyone grabbed onto each other as I poured blood over the Ascendant and we were sucked into that bright light again. We landed in the field, the heretics still dried out. "We gotta get them out of here. People can't see them like this." I said.

Dad took Valerie and Oscar, Kol took Beau and Malcolm, and I took Mary Louise and Nora. Kai carried Dahlia back to the house, knowing that she doesn't have vampire speed. We placed them on the couches, pulling flasks out for each of them. Once they had drank enough that they could hold it themselves we stepped back. Lily drank greedily for the first time in over one hundred years.

Caroline had called it quits with Stefan. Unhappy with his old fashioned ways. They split peacefully, knowing they weren't meant for each other. While Stefan was sad over breaking up, he also felt a small sense of relief. They both went on looking for love but knew they would be there for each other if they needed it.

"First things first, all of you can keep those flasks. They will always be full of blood, carry them with you always. I am Henrik Mikaelson, I am the Original Heretic. From here on in I will be leading you, I have the strength to protect you. I have longed for a Coven of my own, with people that are the same as me. Our only rules are that in large cities we don't kill locals and we clean up after our kills. We don't hunt other species for no reason, and you must be loyal to the Mikaelson family. We treat those who are loyal with respect and protect them like they are our own. Ask our hybrids, see how much their lives have improved siding with us." Henrik said to the group.

Lily stayed quiet, finally getting a break from being the leader. She was grieving the loss of her grandchild. Valerie sat by the sleeping Stefan, gently running her fingers through his hair. "You are going to have to tell him the truth. He won't believe it from anyone else." I told her picking him up under his arms and leading him to a spare bedroom, she followed behind us.

Just before I left the room I woke him from his forced slumber. I left quickly after letting them have their moment. I went up to the rest of the heretics, all the ones marked by Rayna Cruz. "I am Hope Mikaelson, I know all of you are marked by Rayna Cruz and her cursed blade. Show me your wounds, I would like to try something." I told them, rolling up my sleeves.

They all looked taken aback by my forwardness. "Do it, she's capable of things you can't dream of." Henrik told them. They all hesitantly pulled their shirt collars to the side. I started with Beau, "She really did a number on you didn't she? I bet you'd like to speak again." I said putting my hand over his wound. I rubbed it in a circle three times and removed my hand, the scar was gone.

"Oh...my...god." He said, shocked at the sound of his voice. "Thank you." He said taking my hands, tears running down his face. I then moved on to the others, Malcolm was the last. Before I removed his I used it to search for Rayna finding her in a mental hospital not too far away.

"They will be coming if we don't attack first." Kai said. "Who will attack?" Nora asked. "The Gemini Coven." He answered. "Remember, your Dad and his siblings are on the table, but your siblings are not." I told him. He nodded, "I know, I know." He said waving me off sarcastically. "Who are you?" Mary Louise asked him.

"I'm Kai. Malachai Parker. It's like my family expected me to be Evil." He responded smirking. I had seen Nora take her hand, but removed it when she saw I was looking. "Don't worry ladies, the world is more accepting than it was in 1903. Some people still don't like gay people but gay marriage has been legalized." I told them.

"Kol, Dad, can you show the boys the fashion of today? Can you also have Rebekah come and show the girls how to dress?" I asked, pulling Kai with me. "We can and we will but where are you off to?" Dad said. "We are going to kill the Gemini Coven." I said as Kai and I rushed out the door.
