Murray's POV:

I watched as my daughter and Wednesday walked out of the house, a smile resting on my face.

"So Evelyn, what do you want to do?" I asked, turning to the little girl next to me.
She's a spitting image of her mother, it's kind of eerie. But mostly cute.

"Let's bake cookies!" She exclaimed, as a bright smile made its way onto her lips.
She definitely has Enid's personality though.

"Okay, do you know where everything is?" I questioned, while watching her run off to the kitchen.
Not only is this house absolutely huge, but it's also gorgeous. I really need to ask what they do for a living.

"Mhm! The stuff is in the..." she started, the doorbell ringing cutting her off.

"I'll get it," I walked to the entry way, slightly confused. Enid said they shouldn't be expecting anyone.
I opened the door to be met by a familiar face.

"Oh! Murray, is Enid home?" a woman with long, dark hair asked. I remember being told her name, but right now it's no where in my brain.

"No, sorry. Her and Wednesday left for dinner about 10 minutes ago, it's just Evelyn and I tonight."  I responded, as I reached for the phone in my back pocket. "Would you like me to call her?"

"There's no need to bother them, I'm just here because-"

"Yoko!" Evelyn exclaimed, as she ran into the girls arms.

"Hey Hun," Yoko said, offering the child a bright smile.

"Where's Divina?"

"She'll be over in a bit, she said she had something to do."

"Can we go to the park again?"

"I thought you wanted to watch a movie?" Yoko asked Evelyn, as I stood there with nothing to say.

"Yeah, but we can do that after that park." she reasoned, while messing with a strand of her hair.

"Evie, I think your mom wanted you to spend time with your grandfather. I'm just here to make sure you're having fun. I'll take you to the park this weekend for your birthday, how does that sound?" Yoko asked, as she gently set her down.

"Otay, Bye Auntie Yoko."

"Bye Evelyn, have your mother call me when she gets home okay?"

"Otay!" She stood there and watched as the door closed, before turning back to me.

"Do you still want to make cookies?" I asked, watching as her eyelids slowly started to droop.

"Can we watch a movie instead?" she softly questioned, while reaching her arms up.
I picked her up and grabbed her blanket off of the bar stool.

"Of course," I plan to treat this child like I wish I treated Enid, and I know she has everything a child could ever possibly wish for, but I'm going to try to give a little more.

Enid's POV:

"Please tell me you didn't buy another restaurant," I mumbled, while glancing up from my phone.
We've been driving for around 20 minutes now, and I'm starting to get a bit impatient.

"I didn't," she answered, as she drew random lines on my thigh with her fingers.

"How do you think Evie's doing?" I questioned, mostly talking to myself.

"I'm sure she's just fine."

"Wednesday...." I said, my voice trembling.

"What is it?" she asked, while grabbing her phone out of my hand.
I already had tears streaming down my cheeks, not able to get a word out of my mouth.

"Shit..." she muttered, tears welling in her eyes as well. She didn't let them spill over though, instead she turned the car around and started driving back home. "Enid I need you to pull it together, call your dad. We need to make sure, that... that it's real. It could be fake." I shook my head, practically chocking on my tears at this point.

"Enid Now!" she yelled, as she threw the phone in my lap.
I slowly picked it up, my hands shaking as I clicked on his contact.

"Enid-"

"Dad I need you to tell me where Evelyn is,"

"She's upstairs asleep-"

"No, I need you to go upstairs and send me a picture of her."

"O-okay, is everything alright dear?"

"Dad, I need you to hurry up." I said, while sniffling.

"She, she's not here." I hung up the phone, and clicked on Yoko's contact.

"Hey E-

"Where the fuck is Divina?"

"Why? What's wrong?" Yoko asked, her voice dripping in worry.

"Where is she Yoko?" Wednesday said, taking the phone from me.

"I-i don't know, she left about an hour ago. Said she was taking Kent to the airport,"

"Yoko, I think Divina's my stalker, and before you say a word I need you to get in your car and drive to the graveyard that's to the right of our neighborhood."

"Okay, I'm driving. But I need you to tell me what's going on. Why is Enid crying?" Wednesday said nothing, she instead sent her the picture we were just sent. A picture of Evelyn knocked out, and chained to the floor of a dark room. "What the fuck, you think Divina did this?"

"I know it was Divina, but I also know you aren't going to believe me until I give you proof. Well that picture is it. Zoom in on the lower right hand corner, does that emblem remind you of anything?"

"Divina's necklace..." Yoko said, as it finally clicked in her head. "Wednesday, we really need to find her."

"I know where she is, and I think that was her goal. She want's me dead, not Evelyn. She doesn't think I'm good enough for Enid, it's obvious now that I've reread all of the texts." Wednesday mumbled, gaining my attention, "She's going after Evelyn because she knows she's the thing I care about the most besides Enid."

"I thought-"

"It doesn't matter what you think Yoko, it's the truth." I said, cutting her off.

"I just need you to get there and try to talk her out of doing anything. We're around 10 minutes away, do you think you can distract her until we get there?" Wednesday said, her knuckles turning white due to how hard she's gripping the steering wheel.

"Y-yes, I think so." she replied, "Do you think...she still l-"

"Yoko I know she loves you, it's quite obvious. Which is why I called you, she's going to listen to you over anyone else in this area."

"Okay, I'm here."

"Please don't let anything happen to her, Yoko." I begged.

"I'll protect Evelyn with my life Enid, I promise."
