Wednesday's POV:

I woke up to a familiar voice in my ear, but instead of it being her normal good morning or a dirty joke. Its her whining.

"Wenny,"

"Yes darling?" I softly reply, my voice a bit rough due to me just waking up.

"My stomach hurts." Great.

"Do you feel like you're going to get sick?" I gently ask, while sitting up to look at her.
She nodded her head, her face sickly pale. She looks really bad...
"Let's move to the bathroom then," I say with a sigh.
We make it to the bathroom with just enough time for me to pull back her hair before she starts throwing up.
I place one of my cold hands at the back of her neck, trying to cool her down. I did this when she was getting morning sickness, she said she liked how cold my hands were.
I place my other hand under her shirt, softly massaging her back.
Once she stopped, I grabbed a washcloth from the closet and placed it under the water. When it was fully soaked, I wiped her mouth, and chin with it. Making sure to get everything off of her.

"I'm sorry," She mumbled, as I got up to place the rag in the dirty towel basket.

"Don't be sorry amore, it's not your fault." I replied, while sitting back down on the floor next to her.

"Can we just stay in here? The tiles feel good, and I don't want to get sick in the bedroom."

"Whatever you're most comfortable with." she nodded, before laying her head down of my lap. Tucking her knees to her chest.
I ran my fingers through her hair, eventually calming her enough to get her to fall back asleep.

"Mommy?"

"Good morning, angel."

"Is mama alright?" she asked, while walking over to sit next to me.

"She'll be okay soon, she just has a bit of a tummy ache right now." sometimes I hate the way I talk to Evelyn compared to people that don't live in my household, but then again I really don't care.

"Oh no," she softly exclaimed, clamping her hand over her mouth. "I hope she gets better soon,"

"Me too, mi hija."

"Can I lay with mama? She told me my hugs make her feel better." the child asked, as she scooted closer to me.
Before I could respond, Enid lifted the arm she had wrapped around her knees. Inviting Evelyn into her embrace.

"Be easy," I mouth to her, before allowing her to cuddle up next to her mother.

"How'd you sleep?" Enid asks, her voice weak.

"Good, I had a dream about ice cream last night." she answered, while messing with a strand of Enid's hair.

"Mmm, I guess we'll have to get some later then."

"Really!?"

"Mhm, now how about you try to go back to sleep. It's very early." she coos, as she pulls Evie closer to her.

"Okay mama," Evelyn replies, while closing her eyes.
It wasn't long before both of them were asleep, leaving me leaned against the bathtub with nothing to lay my head on. As a last resort I grabbed my phone from the floor next to me and opened my brothers contact, calling him without a second thought.

"It's like 6 in the morning what the hell do you want?" He asked, Eugene's voice in the background telling him to calm down.

"I need your help," I muttered, already hating this idea.

"With what?" He questioned, now realizing that I'm being serious.

"Enid's sick, and I've been on the floor in the bathroom for the past hour and a half. My back hurts, and I need help getting Evelyn back in her bed and Enid downstairs."

"Why isn't Evelyn in bed?"

"She came to check on Enid, and ended up asleep on the floor with her."

"You sound like you've gotten yourself in a fun situation, want to share anything sis?"

"No, Pugsley. We are not having another kid."

"Thanks for clearing that up for me, even though I'm not quite sure that I believe you."

"Are you going to help me or do I need to call Eugene instead?"

"We'll be over in a minute," he said, before the line went dead.
I can't stand having to ask him for anything, but he's the only one that lives less than an hour away from us and realistically the only person I will willingly let in my home.

"Good morning sunshine," He teased, as he slowly pushed the door to my bathroom open.

"Can you just take Evie back to her room?"

"What's the magic word?"

"Now." he laughed, as he slid his arms beneath her. Lifting her off the bathroom floor.

"Eugene's downstairs, he brought some crackers over for Enid." I nodded, as I slowly lifted Enid and myself off the floor.
Pugsley got out of my way, walking Evelyn to her room. I walked downstairs, Enid's head on my shoulder, and her legs on each side of my hips.

"Hey Wednesday,"

"Hello Eugene," I softly replied, while laying her down on the couch.

"Is she okay? Pugsley said she didn't feel well." I walked over to the kitchen, grabbing a glass from the cabinet.

"I'm not sure, I'm hoping its just a bug and it goes away tomorrow." I replied, as I filled the glass with water.

"Do you want me to go to the store to get anything? Sprite, chicken noodle soup?"

"Could you get sprite, and could you grab Evelyn an ice cream cone for later?" I'm not gonna let her go without her ice cream.

"Okay, i'll be back soon."

"Thank you," I mumbled, before walking over to place the glass on the end table. Startling Enid. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

"It's fine," she replied, as she pushed herself to a sitting position.

"Here, drink some water." I said, while passing her the glass. "Don't chug it,"

"Yes ma'am," she muttered, while taking sips from the glass.

"Eugene went to go get you some sprite, and presumably a few other things."

"Okay,"

"Do you want some crackers?"

"No, I want you to lay with me." I softly smiled, before responding.

"Alright," I lifted the blanket, and slid in next to her. Wrapping my arms around her waist, as she leaned her head on my chest.

"I love you," she mumbled into my shirt.

"I love you," I answered, as I placed a kiss on the top of her head.
