Wednesday's POV:

"Your turn," I mumbled, watching as she pulled her fingers out of her mouth, her cheeks flushing.

"You'll have to get off the counter first," She teased, before licking her bottom lip. Clearly not believing in my ability to simply 'jump' off the counter.
Once I got off the counter, I gently pushed her backwards until her back was up against the shower wall.

"You know...if we're in here for too long they may think we are doing something a bit nefarious." she softly mumbled, while pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.

"It wouldn't be a thought darling, They would know." I replied, as I trailed my fingers down her arm, watching the goosebumps rise.

"Well then you should probably get on with it, save us some trouble." She whispered, her voice raspy.

"What if I want trouble" I asked, as I grazed her neck with my mouth. (Author: This part is so cringy I lit cannot, also....Welcome back!!)

"Mmm," she hummed, as her eyes slowly closed.

"Look at me." Her eyes snapped open, immediately making contact with mine.

"What?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to make sure you're listening." the corner of her mouth quirked up, and it drove my stomach crazy.

"Are you going to continue, or are you going to keep looking at me like a deer in headlights?"

"lets go with the first option," I mumbled, before pushing my fingers into her.

Pugsley's POV:

"Do you really think I made her that mad?" I asked Eugene, as I watched him play a game of chess with Evelyn.

"Yes, but I wouldn't worry about her. Enid's got it covered, she'll come back around."

"Wednesday's not like that though, she holds grudges. She's literally going to kill me."

"No she wont." he started "It might not seem like it, but she loves you. She's just not very good with 'feelings'. Give her some time to cool off, because she's pretty pissed off right now." He responded, before being beat by Evie.

"I beat you!" She exclaimed, while giggling.
Although her and Wednesday look exactly alike, there would be no question about who her other parent is. Her personality is copy and paste of Enid's.

"You sure did, why don't you go grab some cards for us to play. I think they're downstairs."

"Okay!" she answered, before running to grab a new game.

"Pugsley,"

"Yes?"

"Wednesday doesn't hate you, don't worry about what happened. I'm sure she'll forget it the moment she sees Evelyn again, there Is no mistaking the love she has for that kid."

"You're right,"

"I know I am, that's usually how It turns out."

"I hate you," I muttered.

"Love you too," he replied, as he got up off the floor, walking away to join Evelyn at the table downstairs.

Enid's POV:

Holy Shit

That was fucking insane...
I want to know how she's eating and sitting with ease, while I'm over here dying inside and trying not to let my face show whats going on in my head.
I know she's got to be thinking about something, and it probably revolves around what we just finished doing minutes before the dinner we order got placed at our door.

"Wednesday I-" Pugsley started, before being cut off.

"I apologize for snapping at you, I'll make sure to check my tone a bit better in the future in hopes that you'll work on minding your own business." she muttered, not even making eye contact.

"Y-yes, of course."

"Good,"

"Mommy?" Evelyn mumbled, immediately gaining both Wednesday and I's attention.

"Yes?"

"Are you okay?" she gently asked, while glancing down at the hand Wednesday has wrapped around her knife.

"Yes, why wouldn't I be?" she responded, a puzzled look spreading across her face.

"Because you're holding your knife so tight your knuckles are white, and you keep looking over at mama like your thinking of something you can't or don't want to say out loud." I choked on my water, and Wednesday dropped her knife back on the table.

"Everything's fine mi hija, I promise."

"I don't believe you," Evelyn pushed, I can tell Wednesday is getting frustrated, and if Evelyn keeps on she may go off on her. Which I can't let happen.

"Evie," I warned, making her whine.

"I was just asking,"

"I don't care, stop it." I answer, not trying to make her cry, but also trying to get my point across.
I know I screwed up the moment tears well up in her eyes.

"I'm sorry," she cried, the tip of her nose turning red.

"I'm not mad at you angel, you just need to mind your own business sometimes. If she doesn't want to tell you whats bothering her then there must be a good reason, so I would just leave it if I were you." I softly explained, as I felt everyone's eyes on me.
It's very rare that we snap at her, and when you do its like the world is going to end.

"Okay mama, sorry mommy."

"It's okay, Evie. Finish you're dinner so you can get some ice cream, okay?"

"Okay." she answered, while sniffling.
God this girl has us wrapped around her little finger.
