~ 14: Deal or Not ~

Killua stood at the edge of an abandoned bar in Kamino Ward. It was the first official day of summer break, and Killua was going to spend it meeting up with the League. He struggled with entering the location in his new phone, but after a few minutes, it all worked out. Killua didn't expect the place to be so far away, and he hadn't planned on telling Gon about this, but of course, Gon found out anyway.

After the mall yesterday, Gon kept asking about who the man he saw Killua walking with was. Killua told him it was that other villain he had encountered before, the one who had asked Killua to join his League. Gon was absolutely opposed to Killua going to meet them, but Killua assured he would one and done it. Gon was reluctant but soon agreed, only if he could come with Killua. Of course, Killua couldn't refuse.

So, Gon was currently hiding around the outside of this building that the GPS led Killua to, waiting for him to be done with the meet-up. Killua hoped it was the right place, so he wouldn't have to make yet another trip. He approached cautiously, scanning the area before stepping up to the door. As he reached for the handle, the door suddenly clicked open on its own.

With curiosity, Killua stepped inside, but waiting in front of him was a girl with blond hair tied up in two messy buns on both sides of her head.

"Hi!" The girl said, a crazed glint in her eyes. "You're Zoldyck, right? You're so much cuter in person!" She suddenly started to move all around Killua, seeming to admire him up and down.

"Who the hell are you?" Killua asked, a bit uncomfortable with the eyes of the girl scanning him.

"I'm Himiko Toga!" She smiled. "I'm also new to the League, so we should get to know each other and be friends!"

Before Killua could respond, a deep voice cut through the air. "Enough, Toga."

A tall, shadowy figure emerged from the darkness, a cloud of mist swirling around him. "Killua Zoldyck, our leader is expecting you." Kurogiri led Killua further into the room. At the center, sitting nonchalantly on a bar stool, was Tomura Shigaraki.

"You found your way," Shigaraki said, his voice a raspy whisper. "I see you've gotten a warm welcome from Toga..." The man looked over at Toga who was smiling wide, twirling a knife between her fingers as if she was waiting for the perfect moment to pounce on her prey.

Killua glared, focusing his attention on Shigaraki. "Let's cut to the chase," he said, folding his arms. "What do you want from me?"

Shigaraki's lips curled into a sinister smile. "Straight to business. I like that. Kurogiri, explain."

Kurogiri appeared, clearing his throat, the shadows around him flickering. "We have a specific goal, you see. This League is being formed out of a necessity to change the world. This current society is deeply flawed by the so-called heroes."

Killua perked an eyebrow, wondering where the villain was going with this. Kurogiri lectured for a little while longer, but in all honesty, Killua wasn't even paying attention once the man got really deep into it. He drowned out Kurogiri's words as it was basically like a history lesson, and the hunter definitely did not come here for that. "Can you get to the point already?" Killua asked, patience running thin.

Kurogiri cleared his throat. "Ah, sorry. I tend to forget my purpose when I speak. But, anyway, we aim to give a chance to those who were cast aside. And that all starts with—" Before Kurogiri could finish his sentence, Shigaraki interrupted.

"All Might." The blue haired man began to scratch at his neck. "We must defeat All Might. Only then will we begin to accomplish what we want. The Symbol of Peace must be vanquished..."
