The next day, everyone was working on their quirk training. Aizawa gave each student instructions on what they could do to make their quirks last longer and become more powerful because, even though they may have improved in physicality, their quirks had been lacking.
He tried to give instructions to Gon and Killua, but the hunters insisted they do some training on their own because of unmentioned reasons, namely that they didn't actually have quirks to train.
"This is supposed to be a summer training camp. What's the point of being here if you aren't going to train as I say? If there's no good reason, you can't get out of it." Aizawa explained.
"Old man, we come from a far, far away land," Killua began to say, pointing a finger in the air as if he were a preacher. "We train our quirks differently over there."
Gon, catching onto Killua's scheme, started to copy his friend's movements. "Yes, yes, we train in a state of meditation."
Aizawa sighed. "No. You two have the most ambiguous quirks out of everyone else in the class. You both are very, very strong in terms of physical abilities, but your quirks are very lackluster. Mainly yours, Killua."
"Huh? What about Gon?" Killua put his arms behind his head and raised an eyebrow.
"Gon's quirk can be categorized as a transformation quirk as it allows him to change his body's strength. However, yours being electricity, the amount of voltage that you actually produce is very weak."
Weak?! Killua tsked in his mind. If only people here could actually see Nen, no one would think he was weak. "Fine. What do you suggest we do then?"
"Gon," Aizawa pointed to an empty plot of land to his right where Pixie-Bob was standing. "Go over to Pixie-Bob. I already told her how to change the terrain to match your quirk requirements."
Gon didn't retaliate and simply nodded in response. Before making his way over to the cat hero, he gave Killua a smile. "Don't cause trouble for Mr. Aizawa, Killua!"
"Sure..." Killua's slight grin immediately returned to a face of annoyance, wondering how Aizawa was going to train him on his quirk when he didn't even have one.
Without another word, Aizawa began to walk in the opposite direction of where Gon had gone. Killua raised an eyebrow but followed his teacher anyway. "You're aware that you and Kaminari have similar quirks, yes?" Aizawa finally said after a minute or so.
"Yea?"
"I want you to try training with him, but if nothing changes, then I have another thing for you."
"Eh? But if it doesn't work, then can't I just train my Ne—" Killua quickly shut his mouth. He almost revealed something he didn't mean to. "I mean do the training me and Gon told you about earlier?"
"No." Aizawa said sternly, although his face was still expressionless. "Me and Principal Nezu have had many discussions about you two, and we need to get more information on your quirks. You know that nobody can see your quirk, Killua. We have to strengthen it."
Finally, Aizawa stopped in an area that held Kaminari and a giant battery. Kaminari was currently in the middle of shocking the thing, probably to build his endurance to being electrocuted was what Killua thought. Too bad for Aizawa though, if he was going to make Killua do the same thing, it would prove pointless as Killua could already stand being shocked by immense amounts of electricity due to his prior training as an assassin.
"Oh, hey, Killua-a-a-a!" Kaminari's voice vibrated as his face started to morph into an incomprehensible blob. He still had to build his endurance to his quirk after all.
