I just jinxed us, didn't I? That was Killua's first thought as he came to recognize the aura coming from in front of him and Bakugo.
Killua positioned himself next to his classmate. As he looked through the gas, he saw how the magician was sitting by a tree at least more than fifteen feet away from him and Bakugo. A sinister smile was playing on his lips as he played with a deck of cards. So, he finally shows himself... but why is he here of all places? What's his motive? His mind flashed back to the countless encounters they had with Hisoka, each one more unpredictable than the last.
When Killua came into view, Hisoka's eyes immediately glinted in the dark moonlight. He retracted his blood lust almost instantly.
Bakugo finally snapped out of the fearful trance he was put in. His body felt weak as an aftermath, but he quickly shook off the feeling. He had never felt something so terrifying before. Noticing Killua next to him now, he followed the younger boy's gaze over to where Hisoka was sitting, shuffling his deck of cards. Who the hell is that clown?
"Bakugo," Killua's voice sounded low and cautious. "You can't approach him. He's dangerous."
Huh? This bastard knows that creep? Bakugo thought as he glanced between Killua and Hisoka, noticing that there was a strange kind of tension between the two.
"My, my, who do we have here?" Hisoka's spine tingling voice echoed throughout the forest as his smile got wider. He slowly stood up from his previous position.
"Hisoka..." Killua said, taking a step back in defense. "What are you doing here?"
Hisoka began to laugh, causing a chill to run down the boys' spines. The sound trailed out of his mouth until he finally smiled again. "I was just trying to find some entertainment. I didn't expect to see you though. I was hoping to see Gon actually, but it looks like your new friend here is a good little treat, as well~" The man's face turned up and something activated... down below.
"...the fuck?" Bakugo, disgust written across his face, started to clench his fists tightly. "Who is this creepy bastard?" He couldn't possibly be a pro accompanying us for the camp, could he? The blonde knew his guess was incorrect, but he had to have some belief in his teachers since they had said the location of the camp was confidential, so there was no way a villain had infiltrated, right?
"Bakugo, don't," Killua warned him again. He noticed how Hisoka's eyes flickered over to Bakugo. The man looked as if he would gobble up the older boy. This is bad. Really bad.
"Don't tell me what to fucking do," Bakugo sneered. Just as his thoughts were starting to make their way back to the depths of his mind, another one popped in. Why did Killua seem to personally know this villain?
Before Killua could say another thing, a sudden voice interjected his mind. It was Mandalay's telepath. 'Listen up, Classes A and B! In the name of pro hero Eraserhead, you are allowed to engage in combat! Use your training to defend and fight these villains!'
"Tch," Bakugo didn't waste any time and started to form mini explosions in his hands. "So this damn gas was all your doing!" He shouted at Hisoka. I can't believe villains managed to get in here!
Hisoka cocked his head to the side in confusion, but the smile that stayed plastered on his face only made the scene more sinister. "This gas? Oh, please, do you believe I have the ability to do that? Killua, you should know it wasn't me." He eerily glanced at the hunter.
Then, Mandalay's telepath went off again: 'One more message! It seems that one of Class A's students, Kacchan, is a target of the League! Kacchan, if you can hear this, please do not engage in combat and stick to a group!'
