| Scenario: Jaehyun is known to be flirty & bold but is taken aback when he tries his antics on the female version of himself |
𓇬 𓈒⠀𓂃⠀⠀˖⠀ 𓇬 ⠀˖⠀⠀𓂃⠀𓈒 𓇬
In the lively atmosphere of their psychology class, Jaehyun couldn't help but keep glancing over at Y/N. She's so pretty, & alluring, & she radiated an aura of confidence that drew everyone's attention. Jaehyun, was known himself for his bold & flirty personality, so he couldn't resist the temptation to test his charms on the fascinating Y/N.
As the lecture went on, Jaehyun got up quietly, & walked away from his friends, towards the row in front of them. Jaehyun smoothly sat next to Y/N, a mischievous glint in his eye. Jaehyun leaned over & whispered,
"You know, I could stare at you all day & never get bored." He gave her a sly smile, fully expecting Y/N to be flustered by his supposedly smooth talking ways.
However, much to his surprise, she simply raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a playful grin.
"Then it's a good thing I'm so interesting to look at, right?" she remarked,
Jaehyun's demeanor faltered, caught off guard by her bold response. He opened his mouth as if to say something, but Y/N didn't give him a chance, leaning in even closer until their faces were mere inches apart.
"What? Don't tell me you're shying out now." She smirked pulling back, collecting her things as the lecture had ended.
Jaehyun shook his head, trying to regain his composure. He had to admit, he was impressed, & more than a little intrigued by Y/N's unapologetic approach. It was as if she had taken his antics & turned them against him.
As everyone began leaving the room, Y/N stood up with her belongings. Jaehyun watched her, his heart pounding in his chest, wondering what she would do next. To his surprise, Y/N just started walking past him, but as she did, he felt her hand trailing along the back of his chair, her fingertips grazing his back ever so lightly.
The faint touch sent a jolt of electricity through Jaehyun's body, & he couldn't help but shiver, his cheeks flushing. But Y/N wasn't done yet. She leaned down, her lips tantalizingly close to his ear as she whispered,
"You're going to have to try harder than that if you want to keep up with me, Jaehyun." Her warm breath caressed his skin, sending shivers down his spine. Y/N flashed him one last grin, leaving him to stare at her as she walked away.
Jaehyun felt his composure slipping away, his usual confidence disappearing. Jaehyun's friends erupted into laughter, poking fun at his flustered state. Taesan leaned over, playfully smacking him on the back with a chuckle.
"Looks like she got you good, man."
Jaehyun just laughed at Taesan's words, before getting up to gather his own things at the table behind him.
As he left the classroom, Jaehyun felt a rush of excitement. This was going to be fun, he thought to himself, a grin spreading across his face. & if he played his cards right, he might just come out on top...or at the very least, enjoy the game

With Y/N's last words, he took it as a sign that she would entertain his behavior. As he walked into the next subject's lecture hall, he found his seat next to his friends, Riwoo & Sungho. As he still stood behind his chair, his body turned to the entrance of the room. His eyes scanned everyone who walked in, looking for her. That's right, Y/N attended this lecture too.
"Aren't you going to sit already?" Riwoo turned his head looking up at Jaehyun,
"He's probably looking for Y/N," Sungho chuckled,
"Ohhhh" Riwoo laughed along,
Finally, Y/N walked into the room, but Jaehyun didn't know exactly what he wanted to do yet, so he just sat down. Jaehyun watched Y/N walk to the row in front of him, sitting in front of him. He smiled to himself.
As the lecture started, Jaehyun thought of how to get back at Y/N for making him flustered earlier, but nothing came to mind. She seemed to be immune to the antics he had used countless times against others.
Jaehyun just messed with his notebook before he got the idea to throw a note at her. He carefully ripped a piece of paper from his notebook, & wrote in it,
- 'Why are you so pretty? I can't even focus on the lecture because of you. Meet me after class?' -
He carefully folded the note & threw it over her shoulder, landing right on her notebook as she wrote notes. He could hear the paper crinkling as she unfolded it.
"You're so cringey Jaehyun," Riwoo playfully faked a disgusted face at Jaehyun, making Jaehyun roll his eyes.
"Jaehyun," Y/N called out loudly, "if you want my attention, you'll have to do better than that."
Jaehyun's jaw dropped & his friends burst into laughter around him. He could feel the heat rising in his cheeks as Y/N turned around & held his gaze confidently.
The lecture ended soon after, but Jaehyun stayed in his seat, replaying the moment over in his mind. His thoughts interrupted by Y/N appearing beside him. She leaned down, her lips brushing his ear.
"Maybe next time?" She teased, before walking away, just like last time.

"& Jaehyun was left like 'what just happened..' " Sungho clapped as he laughed explaining Jaehyun's second failed attempt at flirting with Y/N.
Jaehyun & a few of his friends went to have lunch together, at a cafe nearby until their next lecture.
"I told you, you're no match for Y/N, Jaehyun. No matter how many people you've made swoon over you in the past, she's just different." Taesan laughed just remembering Jaehyun's first attempt towards Y/N.
"Yeah yeah yeah, I'll get back at her soon. You'll see." Jaehyun smiled as he took a sip of his drink.
"Whatever you say.." Leehan interjected before laughing along with the others.
As they sat in the cafe, Jaehyun's mind wandered back to Y/N's teasing whisper. He couldn't help but smile at the memory. 'Maybe next time', he repeated to himself, wondering when that next time would be.
"Jaehyun!...Are you even listening to us?" Sungho's voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Huh? Oh sorry," Jaehyun replied, shaking his head slightly.
"We were discussing our plans for this weekend. You in?" Leehan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah." Jaehyun nodded, eager to shift his focus away from Y/N, at least for the time being.
But even as they made plans & laughed together, Jaehyun couldn't shake off the anticipation of the next encounter with Y/N, wondering what new twist she would add to their ongoing exchange.
