Three years had passed since that night. Alastor and I had grown closer. Even though I didn't always agree with what he did, I was glad to see him pretty much everyday.I spent more time hanging out with him than I did doing my own work. Not that any work was worth mentioning anyway. In a way, it didn't matter.
Rosie joins on occasion. She likes to apparently drool over my wings any opportunity she gets.
Back to the story now.
"Alastor! I'm in my demon disguise, you didn't have to kill these little demons because you're around me" I frowned
"It's not really to protect you as much as it's entertainment for me darling" he chuckled as he devoured the last demon.
His extreme demon size was impressive. The fact he can get as big as a sky scraper is pretty interesting. The first time I had seen it, I almost peed my pants. Now, I just roll my eyes because he's killing people for no reason.
"You could just try being nice" I teased him
"What and just ask them to leave? I don't do this thing called 'nice'"
"What about for a week!" I smiled
"I'll think about it" he chuckled. We both sat in the little chairs, enjoying a cup of tea. The tea always tasted like ass but it was our thing.
I heard a clicking sound. When I looked over to Alastor, he was looking at his pocket watch then stood up
"Cutting it short again?" I asked, standing up to say our goodbyes.
"Unfortunately so. It seems I'm quite popular now a days"
"Oh really" I smiled "have a good one"
"You as well dear"
I watched him leave and sighed.
I found his mother. I wanted to ask him if I could bring something to her that would remind her of him.
When you're in heaven, they take away anything negative in your life. If your child ends up in hell, you forget them if you're in heaven.
I had met Miss Amiyah by accident. I went to grab some lunch with Allison and we stopped by some creole restaurant. With how Alastor cooks, I definitely wanted to try it out.
As a safety measure, I ordered jambalaya and bam. The flavors were exactly like the ones I taste in Alastors food. Of course, I had to meet the chef and to no surprise, it was Alastors mama. I still don't understand how he is who he is but his mother is an absolute Angel.
I had been seeing her weekly to just talk about random things. However, she doesn't remember Alastor. I tried to bring him up subtly. Tried to mention things he told me that she's said to him and nothing. My last resort was to bring something of his to her and see if maybe things work out. I really doubt it would but I won't lose hope. I know it's important to Alastor.
I frowned and manifested myself back into heaven. Why do I even care so much about this? He won't be able to see her. It's not like he can be redeemed again. It's very rare for humans who enter heaven to become fallen. It's even rare for Angel borne folk to become fallen.
Whatever, I'll still try to help but I guess for tonight, I'll just have some wine. Nothing crazy could happen by having a drink.
