Today marked 3 years since having my heart ripped out of my chest. I'm healing slowly but I can't just lay around anymore.

Heaven appointed a new job for me. They haven't told me yet what it is. I have to have a meeting with Adam and Lute later today.

I slipped from my bed when I heard my doorbell ring. Ugh who is here at fucking 12:30pm in the afternoon.

I snapped my fingers to make myself more presentable. My hair braided and a fresh pair of sweatpants with a blue shirt.

"Hello?" I opened the door. I was greeted by Amiyah and another person next to her.

He looked strangely familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. He was tall and tan. Lighter than Alastors mom but not far apart. He had golden brown hair that matched his eyes.

"Oh dear. Look at you! You've lost weight. I brought over some food" Amiyah gave me her award winning sweet smile

I let them both in, staring at the strange man. I knew him. I don't know how. Maybe we met in passing.

"Soooo ummm, who is your friend"

"Oh this! He's my new employee. His name is Alastor. Isn't he just the cutest" Amiyah pinched his cheek. "He just started and when I told him I was insistent on bringing you food every week like I have been, he decided to join me" she smiled. "I'm just glad you finally answered the door. I was tempted on breaking in since you refused my calls"

Alastor...could it be? I looked at him again. This can't be. He is in hell. He belongs in hell. If he was really here, his mom would recognize him.

"Nice to meet ya Al" I held out my hand to be kind.

"Pleasure to be meeting you darling" he adjusted his glasses. "May I get your name?"

"Y/n"

"Y/n, a beautiful name for such a lovely woman" he kissed my hand.

I tried not to give a disgusted look. I can't stand when men do that. Regardless if they are being polite or not. He finally released my hand and I could feel something cold on it.

I turned my hand over to see a very familiar looking locket. It was a little dirty but was the same one from....

Oh no. Oh no no no.
