I was able to take out the kik guy with one slash. Thank the heavens. He was a creep.

Next up Facebook shithead. He was a little more difficult to kill. For a man who is mostly focused on a form social media, you'd expect him to be lazy from all that doom scrolling. He was a very limber man.

I had to retract my scythe and use the vines to my advantage. Similar to Alastors tentacles, I had long vines with the same use. I grabbed the man and held him up by his four limbs.

I'm not a complete monster though. It would've been an average day for a demon to tear their limbs apart but I did a more humane thing. I used the blades from my wings to stab him to death. Easy as pie.

All that is left is that phone freak. He was able to dodge most of my attacks with ease. Was I losing juice? Probably. I don't think I've ever truly fought outside of training in school so I'm not too sure how long I got left but I decided to give it my all.

Focusing my power to my weapon, it started to glow. It grew about three times in size. I bolted after him, screaming in the process.

However, when I hit him, my blade was not digging into him no matter how hard I pushed. I even pushed myself hard enough that two pieces of my hair turned black.

He...he broke my weapon. Shattered it to pieces. It was going to regenerate but would take about 2 days to.

"Fuck" I hissed as I flew back about 10 feet.

I could see Alastor trying to get up but he was getting more weak, unable to move to much. Rosie had to hold him down so he wouldn't kill himself.

"Awww poor little thing. Your little weapon couldn't work on me" the phone demon laughed his ass off "you'd think a death scythe would be able to defeat someone like me. Especially with how easy it was for my friends here. Guess I truly am scratch resistant I'm going to end this now. It's all bullshit" he got closer to me while laughing

Even though I was completely terrified, I managed to get a real glance at him. He might be scratch resistant but heaven is far ahead in technological advances. Usually about 30 years into the future for both earth and hell.

That's it I have an idea. I stopped cowering and just smiled

"What are you smiling for? Your soul is about mine" he was a little confused

I shrugged my shoulders "you said you were scratch resistant correct?"

"Well...yeah. I am kinda based off of phones and stuff"

I snapped my fingers and a glass of water was in my hand "you're basically kinda built around those little iPhones"

"iPhones? There is only one"

I splashed the water at him and he began to electrocute himself. He fell to his knees, groaning in pain.

"You should've stayed a Nokia. iPhones aren't waterproof" all of my feathers in my wings flew off and stabbed him repeatedly throughout his body.

It didn't take long for him to die. All that was left of those three idiots was red balls signifying their souls. Even their bodies disappeared.

I snapped back into my demon disguise. I frowned when I looked at my hair and discovered two pieces were now white. I guess I overexerted myself to a point my hair changed color. That's pretty funny.

I looked over to the two demons I was protecting and sighed "it's done"

Rosie stood up and dusted herself off. She helped Alastor up and he leaned against a wall

"So ummmmmm did you forget to mention to us that you're a death scythe" Rosie glared at me like a mom would a child for eating the last cookie.

I seemed a bit confused "it's because technically it's not my job to be a death scythe. I was just born into a family who typically are those."

"Either way dear, I owe you a favor for this" Alastor smiled

                    Tiny flashback

Rosie and Alastor looked at each other "death scythe?" They both said in unison

"Did you know about this" Rosie asked him

"Not at all"

"It's kinda impressive."

"Agreed."

They just watched in awe for a bit while y/n did her thing. Alastor kinda had to admit, it was hot to see her in action.  At the same time, he felt useless because she wasn't like that. He never saw y/n harm a fly and he knew it was his fault she was killing overlords. His madness just grinned but the piece of his heart that had a soft spot for her, felt immense guilt. The madness overpowered that feeling though. Eh for the most part.

When y/n wasn't able to pull off that final blow to the phone guy, Alastor was trying to stand up.

Rosie could hear him groaning in pain and pushed him back down.

"You can't help Alastor. Dear, you know i believe you can do most things but this, you will kill yourself. We can't have that"

"But she will die"

Rosie smacked him "no she won't. If heaven even feels that hair of hers get hurt, they'll come by to take over"

"I sincerely doubt that"

"So do I, but we need to believe she will be okay"

Alastor was hesitant but listened to Rosie to stay back.

When the battle was over and he saw y/n without a single drop of blood on her, he felt something.

He didn't understand it yet but something was there. It was bothering him.

When Alastor was able to finally stand up, he took a good look at her. Those white pieces in her hair, really shaped her face well. He could see the sorrow in her eyes when she looked at the souls of the ones she just murdered. He could see her guilt but finally when she looked his direction, she gave Alastor a soft but sweet smile. Her eyes basically screamed "thank the heavens you're going to be okay"

That's when he got the idea of what the feeling might be.

Was that feeling...love?

love?
