A Foxy Detective!

Chapter 10

Ark then said "Captain I don't think you are actually angry with them you are upset that your son was involved with this event and maybe targeted by whoever is trying to shut this case quickly enough."

The captain just sighed and looked back at Travis as his eyes were glowing brightly now. The captain's eyes were wide and he said to Ark "Uh! Ark...what is with Travis's eyes glowing right now?" While Ark was explaining why Travis was calming down himself and his beast that was inside his soul and head. The captain then said something to Ark he then turned to Travis and said something that he couldn't hear as he was still fuming and not listing. 

Travis was hit on the head and he turned towards David as his angry subsided and he heard his friend say in dragon tongue "Don't worry brother of shifters! There is no need for anger. All is well and the captain is not angry anymore. So like the sea be calm and let it wash over you like a gentle caress." Travis nodded his head and said back to him in dragon tongue "Thank you dear brother of sea and land."

David smiled and nodded as Travis looked back at the confused Ark and a smirking captain. Travis sighed and he bowed his head to the captain "Sorry captain! I lost my anger which doesn't happen often. I will answer your questions now." Travis then stopped bowing before he continued to say "I walked outside after see your son in the lobby, almost got arrested for something that was fake, your son intervened. Then after we beat them we talked, he told why he disliked me so much. We made up I then told how to get the girl of your dreams then he went for it. So as of right now they are making out in your lobby and I think that is about as far as they are going to go for now anyway. This here is David and he was the one who gave me the sword as a present for being hired for the job."

The captain nodded his head "I see! Yes! My son and his lover is off topic also because I don't want to think about that right now and I hope they don't have sex in public or else they will be arrested." He then looked at David and spoke in dragon tongue "I know that you are a dragon I spent many a year or more with one in my squad or unit. I am proud to see a dragon being a detective." 

The captain than spoke regular so everyone can hear as Ark was looking at the captain now with a confused look on his face again "Mr. David here is a dragon of what type I don't know and I don't want to know unless he tells us so. Now that I got a good look at you I think I can tell that you are hired for the job. Welcome to the force and may you help Travis with his mistrust issues."

David looked at the captain and he got up as did everyone else and said "Yes thank you! I will not disappoint you captain! I think that my friends as they say going naked and strutting around to air out his problems." Travis then got angry and smacked his up the head while he was standing up. He jumped up to smack him in the back of the head that didn't really make him feel anything maybe a sting but that was about it.

Travis then yelled out as the captain and Ark looked confused and were looking at David weirdly "That is not how it goes! It's they need to air out there dirty laundry so that they can be free!" David shook his head looking back at Travis before taking out a pad, pen and writing what Travis said down while mumbling things underneath his breath.

The captain then realized that it was a mistake and both of them started to laugh and then Ark said "Well! I can see that you need to catch up on some of American customs along with other things. Anyway there is a black kit waiting for you in the lobby behind the desk when you are leaving please retrieve it before you go. Also I just had your badge put in the same place as the black case." David put away his note pad and just turned around as did Travis an they both headed for the door. David trench coat and his clothes all changing with a flare of magic that Travis never really saw him use very often and he now had what Travis had on but all silver except for the boots he had black shoes on his feet.
