A Foxy Detective!

Chapter 22

Travis walked towards where Jack was and stood off to his left side then turned to face the crowd. Marie who had broken off at some point came back to Travis standing by his right side while David was off to her right side. Travis then focused on the mass of people and he saw all them wearing the S.W.A.T uniforms except for a short girl who was out in the front of the crowd.

Her face was the only thing not covered showing off her complexion and her hair color as her hair came out of the helmet a little bit. She was about 5ft 5in tall, brown hair, blood red eyes. For Travis this wasn't the first time he saw someone with that multi eye color in fact his cousin has it. She was white skinned, sharp nose, sharp chin and pointed ears that were not form a elf but something else. It then hit Travis where he knew those sharp shape ears from, she was from the Chiroptera in the animal kingdom! 

He knew what species she was too but not her exact shape shifter form. The lady who he was staring at was a type of flying bat of what kind he didn't know unless she told him which knowing them she won't because they like there privacy. He then continued to look at her, her pink lips and her thin eyebrows that were brown. She wore a crystal earrings that was bright green on both of her ears. He didn't get to see her teeth but short fangs showed since they couldn't necessarily hide her fangs.

Travis then refocused on everyone who was talking now that he didn't say anything for several minutes. He then heard Jack whisper to him "You were staring at Lucy a lot? You know her or something because she said when she got here that she was glade to be back here again?"

Travis whispered back while not looking at him "No I was surprised that there was a bat shifter here when they are reclusive same as the dragons although dragons are more reclusive then every one now that I think about it."

Jack said "Ah! Okay yeah I was surprised too at first but she said she had a personal business with a person here who is on the arrest papers. I didn't really pry it what that business was but I think I get where she is coming from. Can you look after Marie tomorrow she is so delicate and she is gentle as a fly."

Travis while listening to this heard David whisper to Marie something about white with back stripes. He looked over to Marie as he saw her blush bright red , she snarled and David bolted as Marie started chasing him around the yard.

Travis heard her yelling at him "Come back here so I can strangle you David! How dare you peek at my undergarments! When I get a hold of you I will break every bone in your body and duct tape your eyes lids close!"

Travis finally looking at Jack who was smiling and said with must neutral tone as he can "Sure a real angel and I can magically fly sometimes while farting fairy dust out by butt."

Jack did a double take as he processed what he said but by then Travis clapped his hands loudly making everyone stop talking and look at him even Marie who was strangling David. She released him and walked back towards Travis as David laid on the ground waving a white flag up in the air. 

Travis had to stop himself from laughing while he did that but he stopped when a snow flak landed on the snow covered ground or started to cover the ground. With a sigh that he let out Travis thought in his head "Well tomorrow morning is gonna be cold as hell. The cold weather wasn't supposed to come until later, but he seems there was a change in plans."

Travis sighed again then said to everyone in a booming voice "Alright listen up this is going to be are plan. There is about 58 with me and David here who are going with a group that would make 60 people in total. Now we will all be in groups of five no exceptions. We will start in the very center of town and work our way outwards. Now two groups of five will be stationed by the very edge of town near the bridge, that way nobody tries to flee when we arrest them. This will happen around 5AM in the morning so get some shut eye tonight. I want to all remind you that we aren't shoot and asking questions later, we will be using numbers to take them down if that doesn't work then use tranquil darts."
