Travis stood there holding back tears as he listened to the anguish cries of love ones crying over there friends, lovers, ex's near the coffins of the dead police officers. There home country flags draped over there coffins before there were going to be given to the family members. The snow covered the ground and continued to fall around him. He was draped in his uniform as he looked at the front of the line of caskets.

They had the fire squad up front as his boss yelled out "Ready! Aim! Fire!" They shot blanks up into the sky. "Bang!" "Ready! Aim! Fire!" "Bang!" Travis counted the number of shots.  "Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!"...in total they shot 21 in the air. Travis saluted to them and trying to maintain his composure even when it was hard. All he could think about was why all the families decided to not wait weeks to bury them like normal but instead pushed to a couple of days in advance. When they asked why they did not say but Travis could assume that they had this all set up in case a situation happened like this. Although he assumed that they didn't think it would anytime soon.

Travis saw rows upon rows of line of caskets that were spread out for all the family to crowd around there love ones casket. In total the number of deaths that they finally counted wound up to be about 30 dead combined every dead officer from different police departments from the gun fire and ambushes from the mayor plans. It was a sad day indeed so many good people or people who did wrong and wanted to change never got the chance to even do that. Travis hoped the mayor got whatever came to him for his actions.

He continued to hear the cries and his hearing was sharp so he could hear what some of the people where saying in one instant there was a little boy crying over a coffin nobody was near him. He had dirty blond hair, green eyes, freckled face, thin eyebrows, chubby chin. White skin about the age of 7 to 6 years old. He was dressed in all black down to his boots and his cries did not settle down. When a police officer walked up to him and bent down to his level he shed a tear as he held the boy in a hug.

He then heard the guy ask the kid a question as everyone stopped crying for several minutes and everyone could hear what the kid said back. "Where is your parents or other relatives at?"

The kid tried to stop crying as he sniffled his answer "There..There is nobody else. M-My mum and dad are dead so is my uncle and aunt. I-I am a...all that is left. I am a..a..all alone, my family won't be coming back and I will never get to apologize for yelling at m-my mom!"  He then pointed to the stack of flags that were right beside him letting Travis and everyone else  know they all died in the line of duty. He cried as he hit his knees into the snow and clung to the officers uniform as he held him.

Other families rushed towards the child and started to comfort him. It just goes to show you how cruel this mayor or this world can be sometimes. Sure there are dozen of great people but all it take is one bad one to ruin it all. He then felt a tear slip down his face as David was crying softly on his left side of him. Travis then felt claps his right shoulder making him look at his right hand side to see Ted who was frowning.

"I know that look in anyone's eyes let justice be justice. The mayor will get what is coming to him that I can promise you." Travis nodded his head slowly as his brain was catching up with him as stared at Ted.

Travis sighed as he thought to himself while focusing back to the scene in front of him. I can't believe that Ted was alive this whole time. He was shocked when late this morning his boss came knocking on his door and in walks Ted like it was nothing.

~Flashback~

Travis heard his doorbell ring and when he was trying to get some sleep for the funeral today but he could chuck that idea out the window. He sighed as the doorbell continued to ring waking Marie who was asleep right next to him up. Travis got up and put on his shorts heading to the door opening it to see his boss on the other side.
