The scene changes to the group standing on a rooftop in hell with destroyed buildings all around them. Everyone, except Xander, was shocked that their conversation had taken them to a actual battlefield with guns blazing, demons screaming, and bombs exploding all around them.
"THIS IS HOW YOU LEARNED HOW TO FIGHT?!" Stone yelled over the screams below.
On the ground, the demons shot each other, brawled with weapons, and one even ran by while completely on fire. Some demons smiled as they enjoyed the carnage. Back on the rooftop, Lorelai immediately got into a drill sergeant stance.
"There is nothing stronger then comrades in arms when it comes to fighting. So, buckle up, buttercups, because today, you boys become men!" She told them as a explosion happened nearby, it's shockwaves moving her hair away from her face.
With that, she advanced towards Ditch and picked him up easily.
"Wait, wait! I can't fight without my knife!...I NEED MY LAWYER!" He cried out fearfully.
"You, are gonna learn to survive together!" She told him as she tossed him off the roof before turning to Xander.
"And you..."
"D...don't you even think about it...I...I need my Lawyer..." he gulped.
As part of her plan, and his punishment for bailing on them earlier, Lorelai picked him up as well and threw him off the roof.
"Are gonna help him!" She smirked.
Annabeth, Beatrice, and Skipp all hid in the stairwell that led to the roof as Lorelai attempted to pick up Vinnie when Stone Stopped her.
"Love! No!"
"This is the only way they'll learn, Stormcloud" she told him.
"No it's not! There's other ways, it's just gonna take time" he said, trying to calm her down.
As they talked, Vinnie looked between the two. Not wanting to be in the middle of it, she jumped off the roof herself, joining the battle below.
"Time we don't have! How many monsters does Roo have to send before we get our shit together? How many people will we have to watch die before we make headway?" Lorelai asked before she turned away from him, tears clinging to her eyes.
"Lorelai..." Stone said, reaching out to her.
"Everything I've ever know has went sideways. I'm supposed to protect you" she said as she grabbed his shoulders before continuing. "I'm supposed to never fail you."
She let go of him before she leaned against the wall on the edge of the roof.
"I BLAME YOU FOR THIS, YOU CRAZY BITCH!" Ditch yelled from the ground.
"You didn't fail me. Love, you're not...you're not..."
"If I can't help you, What's the point of me?" She asked, looking down.
Stone lightly gasped at her saying that.
"Lorelai! Don't say that! You do so much! It's..." he told her before she cut him off.
"I'm sorry. I'd...I'd like to be alone for a minute" she told him before she walked away.
Stone sighed before he walked to the other side of the roof. Suddenly, and exhausted Xander came out of the door. Right behind him, Vinnie carried a battered but in tacted Ditch before throwing him on the roof.
"Made it!" Xander huffed.
Stone walked to the door, looking at the cambion angel a last time before he sighed sadly.
"Lets go home, guys" he told everyone before he walked down the stairs.
"Ugh! I walked up all those stairs!" Vinnie said before she pulled Ditch down the stairs again.
Lorelai sighed as she stayed on the rooftop by herself.
