Everyone screamed as they flew out of the boiling sea. Grabbing his hat, Ditch trasformed into a pig, a fish, and a lizard before landing with a thud.

"We're alive!" Lorelai smiled.

Stone laughed with her as they hugged.

"We're...ahh!" Vinnie began but stopped when she saw what Ditch turned into.

Standing in front of the group was Ditch with the head and torso of a shark.

"Uh, listen....I, uh, appreciate what you did down there" he said, totally oblivious to his trasformation.

"Mm-hmm," Lorelai hummed, distracted by the shark head.

"Took guts."

"Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm, Mm-hmm."

"I'm sorry. I'm trying to be sincere for once and it feels like you're distracted" Ditch told her.

"No, no. No way!" Lorelai told him.

"Really? Because you and everyone else are looking at me like I have a..."

He gasped when he saw his hand. Correction, fin. He then tapped his entire head and torso before letting out a groan.

"Shark head" he finished.

"Whaaaaat? You have a shark head?" Lorelai asked before everyone else started bursting out in laughter.

Ditch growled before he continued.

"Look, the point is...for a human, furry, thing, whatever...who had no business coming to my aid....you did me a solid. But you also almost died. Plus I embarrassed myself in front of Vinnie  because of my curse!"

"Your not cursed" Lorelai argued.

Ditch looked at her with a raised...eyebrow?...before pointing at his head.

"Shark head" he pointed out.

"Your not cursed" she told him again.

In flashes of red light, Ditch trasformed into a starfish, a big bug, a lizard, a tiny fish, and finally a chicken. He groaned with a cluck before turning back to normal. However, he fell flat on his face due to the fact that the bottom half of his body was now a shark tail.

"Cursed" he groaned.

After leaving Hell and bidding Ditch goodbye, Stone walked Lorelai back home. Xander already went ahead of them, saying that he was going to decipher the text but warned them that it might take a few days. So, now, it was just the two of them walking under the pale moonlight as Lorelai talked about how much Ditch improved in just one day.

"How do you do it?" Stone randomly asked, cutting her off from her excited rant.

"Do what?"

Be optimistic about everything? And how can you forgive someone like Ditch?" He clarified.

She sighed.

"Well, before I met you and Vinnie and Skipp, I was a very different person. I sang at a club, I had money, and despite everyone hating my guts, they still respected me. But....I wasn't happy. I never was. But then, you guys came into my life and gave me a second chance. And I want to make the most of that second chance. And helping out others makes me happy, even if I'm a scrap" she explained.

Stone hummed at her reply when he remembered the turning point of his feelings for her.
