The next day, Lorelai and Vinnie were applying stolen makeup onto Ditch.

"Um, why am I wearing this!?" He asked, annoyed.

"Because I want to" Vinnie replied snarkly.

"It's so you don't look so pail at the gangster meeting" Lorelai added, referring to the meeting Lizzy invited them to after they babysat her daughter and her friends.

"Isn't he normally pale?" Xander pointed out.

Everybody looks at him before looking at the heartless.

"Fair point" Stone commented.

"What about his eyes?" Skipp asked them.

"Use sunglasses" Xander simply told him.

So, after cleaning all the makeup off, Vinnie put a pain of stolen sunglasses on his face.

"Now he looks normal!" Skipp cheered happily.

"Yeah, let me just-" Lorelai muttered briefly as she made Ditch's jacket cover up his chest, hiding the black heart-shaped hole that replaced his heart.

"There!" She finished.

Once she was finished, they all left the Scrap house.

"Okay, where is this gang meeting located, Ditch?" Vinnie asked him.

"The location is usually scrambled depending on whose hosting it. But knowing Liz's situation, it's somewhere near the house of the hearts" he replied.

Lorelai bit her bottom lip as she fiddled with the edge of her dress.

"Uh, I hope you don't mind me asking but... What's the "house of the hearts?" She asked them.

Stone gently grabbed her warm hand with his cold one.

"Love, the house of the hearts is kinda Lizzy's gang. She recruited those who are willing to join and to help orphaned children. Hence the name "house of the hearts" he explained to her.

"A place for everyone!" Skipp happily added.

"Awwww! That's so sweet of her" Lorelai gushed, placing a hand over her heart.

As they went through Ramshackle's alleyways and slums, they soon reach a dead end.

"Really dude?" Vinnie asked, giving Ditch a "seriously?" Look.

"Hold your horses. Did you really think that we were going there on the main path?" He replied.

"Wait, ate you saying we're-?" Lorelai asked, pointed up to the rooftops.

"Yep, we're taking the high path" he said before he climbed up a nearby pipe to get to the roof.

Everyone looked at eachother for a moment before Vinnie shrugged and climbed up the pipe. Lorelai opened up her wings before she grabbed Skipp and Stone. With a small beat of her wings, they flew up to the roof to join them. As for Xander....he struggled to climb up the old pipe.

"Should we help or...?" Skipp asked, looking down at the incubus.

"Nah, he'll be fine" Lorelai told him.

*12 minutes later...*

After multiple attempts, Xander finally got onto the roof.

"Made it~" he told them tiredly.

"Took you long enough. Now let's go" Ditch said before he jumped onto a different roof.

Xander rolled his eyes before he got up and followed him. Going from rooftop to rooftop, they soon spotted a warehouse nearby.

"There it is" Ditch announced before he slid down another pipe to safety get to the ground, only to bump into someone.

"Ditch, old friend, where have you been? Everyone thought that you were dead!" Zestal: one of the many gang leaders said, surprised.

"Hahaha- nice to see you too, Zestal. Still a sociopath?"

"Always."

From a small distance, the small group watched the exchange.

"Ha! Charmed. Anyways, Where's Liz?" Ditch asked, wiping away a fake tear.

"Inside" he replied, motioning his hand to the warehouse doors.

So, the group slowly went inside the house of the hearts. Lorelai's heart sank when she saw that the house of the hearts was so much better than her Scrap house.

"Whoa..." she breathed out, a little bit jealous and full of envy.

"Wow! This place is bigger then it looks" Vinnie commented.

"Wow! They even have a bar area!" Skipp added happily.

They follow Skipp's gaze and saw Zane: Lizzy's significant other, making a few drinks.

"Oh, hey guys!" Zane said, waving to Vinnie, Skipp, and Stone.

"Zane!" The three best friends said in unison before they pulled him into a bone-crushing hug.

"Gha-!! Good to see you guys too-!! Can't breathe-!!" Zane told them, causing them to let him go.

"So, how are you and Liz going?" Vinnie asked him.

"Hehe. Somewhat married?" Zane replied, rubbing the back of his neck before gesturing to wedding ring he was wearing.

"Congrats, man" Stone told him, smiling a little bit.

"Yeah! Congratulations!" Skipp told him.

"One day, that'll be you and Stone" Xander teased, causing his half-sister to blush deeply and punch his arm.

After this little sibling moment, Zane noticed them.

"Oh, hi! I'm Zane and you must be Lorelai: Stone's girlfriend. Lizzy and Coraline told me you were a very nice woman" he greeted, holding his hand out for her to take.

She immediately took and shook his hand.

"Aww! Thanks! It's nice to meet you too" she replied before Stone hugged her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Hey, love. Me and Skipp are going to catch up with Zane. You got the meeting to go to" he told her.

She smiled before she turned to face him, her arms now loosly resting on his shoulders.

"Of course. I can't break a get-together with friends" she replied before she gently kissed him.

He gladly returned it and after a moment, they pulled away and hugged.

"Ew, get a room" Vinnie told them.

Lorelai decided to play with her when she said that.

"Aw, is someone jealous?" She teased in a baby voice.

She growled as a wild blush covered her face.

"No!" She grumbled before she walked away.

"I think I can go for a drink too" Xander told his sister.

"Alright, have fun" Zestal told the boys before he, Lorelai, Vinnie, and Ditch started to head to the room where the meeting was going to be held.
